I liked everything, the location, the kitchen, the hotel area was very clean. I can especially note the friendly and responsive owners of the complex. In a word, everything is great, I recommend it!

In our room there was no hook for towels in the bathroom; I kept forgetting to take a towel with me. Maybe it flew off, but... there was also no toilet paper holder, the roll sometimes fell on the floor and got wet through and through, which caused some discomfort at the most crucial moment. But these are all details. Overall great!

It’s a big plus that there is an exact address, and the location is on all maps, and this can be a problem in Abkhazia), so when we arrived at the cottages early in the morning (6 o’clock), they assumed that they would check us in no earlier than 12 o’clock, however, after calling call, we were politely greeted by the owner Alina and the friendly dog ​​Jesse. We were immediately given a key to the house, a Wi-Fi password and a gate code. We were also pleasantly surprised by the fact that we were accommodated in the house, as we thought that we would be accommodated in the main building. The bungalow house is one room, which has everything you need and a bathroom. It was clean, the bed linen was ironed, 3 towels, the refrigerator was freezing, the TV showed several channels, the air conditioning worked properly, the temperature in the house quickly became comfortable, all the plumbing worked properly, there were no problems with water. Separately, I would like to note the excellent deep well, the tap from which was located next to us - the water is absolutely fresh, brushing your teeth, washing and washing your face was a pleasure, you can even drink it (we saw the owners themselves do this many times), which helped us out a lot at the end of the trip when you didn’t have time to buy water at the store. It is impossible not to note the very well-groomed, neat area, with palm trees and other plants. Comfortable kitchen, "barbecue". It's nice to sit outside in the evening. The house was cleaned every 2 days, linen and towels were changed every 3 days - this is not even practiced in all 4-5* hotels abroad, we were pleasantly surprised. We love animals, the shepherd Jessie was a joy for us, many children regularly played with her :) Everything you need is nearby - 5 minutes to the beach, 1 minute to the nearest dining room, close to the market, shops, pharmacy, in general, not you'll be lost. I tried to describe this accommodation option as objectively as possible, I would like to say THANK YOU again to the friendly and helpful owners, if we go to Gagra again, it will only be to you) Well, those who are looking for something to latch on to will always find such moments.

During our entire week-long stay, the lights were turned off a couple of times and for a short period of time (there is construction going on nearby, where they themselves were powered directly from the pole), but in this case the owners have a powerful generator. Among the nuances revealed during our stay, which are more likely to relate to wishes than to complaints: yes, the signal from the router did not “finish off” well to our last house, if you sit on the street - everything is fine, inside the signal was rather weak, the owners know about it, planning to replace the router. The door to the bathroom has not yet been closed (only from the inside on the latch), and inside there is a ventilation hole through which insects can fly in at night. We found a way out - we tied a bag to the handle and the door was tightly locked in the closed position, but it was better to replace the handles so that we could slam the door without problems. We didn’t scatter food around the house, everything was in the refrigerator, no ants attacked us)

1. Location - near the sea. However, the path to the sea runs through the market, where something is constantly being burned and the smell with the wind, which always blows from the sea, is carried to the house and instead of resort-clean air you will breathe plastic; 2. Availability of a kitchen. There were no problems with plates and cutlery, but for 6 houses + more than 10 rooms, only three burners on the stove were not enough. If you cook yourself, there may be problems; 3. Drinking tap water (according to landlords), if boiled and without the taste of salt or bleach; 4. Enough places to eat outside.

1. The owners do not consider it necessary to explain on the way where and what is located; 2. A huge dog is running around the territory (although it is friendly, even friendlier than the owners, but at night it prefers to bark, making it difficult to sleep peacefully); 3. The houses, although they look new, require repairs, namely the doors close with great force! labor and creaking (if your child is sleeping inside, then you have almost no chance of not waking him up); 4. There are annoying ants running around in the room and getting into the food (we had to hang up the food); 5. Pillows stuffed with feathers are terribly large and hard so that your neck will ache after the first night; 6. Blankets like in reserved seat carriages! Horror!; 7. Laundry is paid, despite the fact that they have a washing machine (I had to argue with the landlords and especially with the maid Marina that for the fee charged from 6 people they could be allowed to do laundry a couple of times); 8. Internet is very slow! Even the Yandex page takes an hour to load! If you need to find something about where to go or go, talk on Skype with your family, then don’t count on it! 9. Toilet paper at your own expense, except for the roll that you will be given upon arrival (keep it as a souvenir of their generosity); 10. They also wanted to force you to buy dishwashing detergent yourself, but changed your mind (so you can expect this if you go there); 11. The air conditioner in the room barely worked, and therefore even at home sweated in the heat! In response to our requests (and not only ours), the air conditioner was simply pulled out of the socket and plugged back in, which, as you understand, did not help. ATTENTION! BIGGEST MINUS: there was no ELECTRICITY regularly!!! And therefore, no light, no internet, just like in the 90s.

First of all, tourists are attracted by the proximity of the cottage complex to the sea (just under half a kilometer), because nothing can be worse than grueling long-distance hikes on a hot day. One kilometer from the Cottages in Gagra complex there is a large city water park where guests love to relax.

Not far from the cottages there is a large city market where you can buy souvenirs or delicious and fresh products: loose tea, honey from a home apiary, unusual spices and herbs. The famous churchkhella is sold on every corner. Alcohol lovers are strongly recommended to buy a bottle of chacha or homemade tincture for themselves.

The train station is located not far from the complex (just under two kilometers), and it’s not a very long drive to the airport - about an hour (the nearest is in Sochi, about 44 kilometers from the hotel).

"Cottages in Gagra" is a hotel where anyone can rent a room for themselves during the holiday season, but it is advisable to book it in advance, since the flow of tourists is very large, and there are few rooms, only six, and all of them are located in one two-story building .

There are five small houses made of wood on the territory. They also have rooms for guests.

The hotel has a separate area for eating, located in the fresh air. There is also a separate grill where guests can cook meat or vegetables for themselves. There are many places to relax in the courtyard: benches, sun loungers and armchairs.

Number arrangement

The hotel rooms and individual houses do not differ from each other in terms of comfort. Each of them has a good air conditioner that regulates the air temperature in the room, and there are televisions broadcasting several channels. There is a personal shower room for each room, in which guests are provided with a standard set of bath accessories: towels, gel, soap, shampoo. The bathroom is also individual.

There is a separate kitchen, which has a full set of utensils necessary for cooking. It also has a refrigerator for storing food and an electric kettle.

In general, everything is arranged very well, comfort is provided for those who decide to come and relax at Cottages in Gagra. Thanks to the attention to guests, the complex receives good reviews.

Entertainment

On the territory of the complex itself, of course, there is no entertainment or show programs, but they can be found very close, because the “Cottages in Gagra” complex is located within walking distance to all the entertainment places of the city.

One of the main favorite activities of tourists is excursions. In Gagra, you can book an unforgettable jeep ride - a very exciting journey that definitely won’t seem standard and monotonous! You can also go horseback riding, go sea fishing or book an airplane flight.
