Climate

The climate here is moderately warm, with 272 sunny days a year. There is little precipitation during the year, much more in winter than in summer. The warmest month of the year is August with an average temperature of 24.4 °C. The average temperature in January is 6.7 °C. The summer season starts in mid-May and lasts until mid-October, when the average sea temperature is 21.7°C and the air during the day is 21.8°C.

Beaches

On the southern outskirts is the largest beach of the village of Veliki pijesak, 298 meters long and about 8000 m² in area. The beach is pebbly and in some places sandy. The beach can accommodate about 2700 bathers. It has everything you need to relax: umbrellas, sun loungers, changing rooms, showers and toilets. From here you can go on a boat trip on a yacht, sit in a bar, listen to live music in the evenings.

To the north of this beach is the wild beach of Mali pijesak (plaža Mali pijesak). These two beaches are separated from the others because they are nature reserves.

In addition to the beaches of Veliki and Mali Piesak, there are several other good beaches nearby, where locals prefer to relax. Approximately 5 km from the village is one of the best beaches of the Bar Riviera - Uteha Beach - 800 meters of small white pebbles. Its peculiarity is the presence of a large number of springs flowing into the sea with very clean fresh water. Hence - the play of light in the places of their connection. The embankment in Good Water is small, but pretty. And there are not many establishments here, even in season. Therefore, the village is more suitable for a quiet, relaxing holiday (they say there are very beautiful sunsets here).
