Travel requirements

How to get there

The Rhein-Main-Flughafen is located 12 km from the center of Frankfurt. You can get from the city by car, bus, taxi, train.

Traveling by train is the most economical and fastest.

Motorways A3, A5 and A67 will lead you directly to T 1 and T 2. Please note that parking on the main road to the terminals is allowed for a maximum of 15 minutes and is subject to a fee. There are 2 petrol stations at the airport.

You will find taxis around the clock, traffic 20-30 minutes, price 30-50 euros... On arrival, you should tell the taxi driver which airline you will be traveling with and he will drop off at the correct terminal near the check-in counter.

Bus stops are located in front of T 1 and T 2. No. 61 goes to the South Station. There are only 15 public buses to the city.
