About the private sector

Private houses are the most common type of housing. The average cost in August is from 400 rubles / day to 800 rubles / day per person. A nice bonus can be discount or free accommodation for children.

In the private sector, it is usually permissible to use everything that is on the farm (shower, kitchen, gazebo, washing machine, etc.). Since there are no hotels like Turkish and Egyptian in Arkhipo-Osipovka, it is more than difficult to find animators for children.

We did not book our place in advance, which we regretted, as it is very difficult to find a free seat during the season. But the private sector in the village is large and 99% of houses are rented to visitors during the summer season.

After an hour and a half of searching, we were left with three options - a private cottage (for 3000 rubles per day) and two houses - at 400 and 500 rubles per person per day, respectively. As a result, we chose the latter option, since our five-year-old son was accommodated free of charge.

It turned out - 1000 rubles per day for a room with one double and one single bed. There were also bedside tables, a wardrobe and even a TV. The plot had two showers, a summer gazebo, a kitchen, and a bathroom. From appliances - hairdryer, washing machine, microwave oven, gas oven and much more.

We were pleased with our choice. We had to walk about 10 minutes to the sea. In addition to us, another family and a hostess lived in a large three-room house, which absolutely did not interfere, since we met only in the morning and late in the evening.

Food: shops, cafes, street fast food

There is plenty of food for every taste and price. For those who love to cook on their own - shops and supermarkets (the most popular is "Magnet"). On the other hand, while on vacation, not everyone will like to cook three times a day on their own.

We cooked ourselves only once a day during breakfast, and we bought food in advance in the evening. Food prices in supermarkets are not higher than the national average. Son really liked cherry plum, which we did not have to buy, because it grew right on the site.

It is worth mentioning separately about food "off hand"... On any Black Sea resort full of grandmothers selling fruits and nuts, traders with pies, churchkhela, hot corn and all the rest. All this is sold both in the city and on the beach.

We did not dare to buy something from such traders, especially for our child, you never know what. If you really want local exoticism, churchkhela can also be purchased in a store farther from the coast, and it is one and a half times cheaper.

Most of the diet is food bought in numerous cafes on the embankments, where you can dine, as in canteens, and have supper. With the coming of night, all the cafes turn into dance clubs.

Along the entire coastline there are many hot dog stalls, pasties, kebabs and other related products. The price of such a snack is from 50 rubles.

The best cafe-canteens, in our opinion, are Albatross, "Tornado" and "Horizon". The average bill for three during the daytime lunch did not exceed 800-1000 rubles (sometimes the first, second, juice / beer, salad). The whole family, including the son, was very addicted to French-style meat, which cost only 210 rubles at Tornado.

About beaches

The best way to go to the beach is through the central street - there you can plunge into the local flavor, because it is along this street that sellers of t-shirts, food, souvenirs and everything else are concentrated.

The beach itself is very long, but not wide, framed by two small rivers. You can sit on the beach for free, but it is always under the sun and there is a very high density of people. For 150 rubles, you can rent an indoor sun lounger for the whole day.

Beach cover- mixed stone, the closer to the coast, the finer.

We had a baby, so we rented a sunbed every day. As it turned out, it was the right decision, because the ten-year-old daughter of our housemates got very badly burned on the second day.

The beach in Arkhipo-Osipovka is dirty because of the large number of people, and the sea cannot be called the cleanest, but we bought an inflatable mattress in a shop for 300 rubles and calmly swam a little further from the coast, where it was much cleaner.

There is wild beaches, for example, behind one of the rivers, which can be reached by wading or by boat for 30 rubles.

Things to do with children

All entertainment in Arkhipo-Osipovka can be roughly divided into water and all the rest. On the coast, you can entertain yourself as follows.

Name What includes approximate price
Banana Riding 5-10 people on a rubber tube, with access to the sea and a short swim. Duration is about 15 minutes. I advise for children if they are not afraid of water. 300-350 rubles.
Tablet Riding 2-3 people on a rubber flat tablet at a very high speed. The duration is 7-10 minutes. I advise for children over 10 years old, as it is quite extreme. 350-400 rubles.
Catamarans Standard vacation on a catamaran. Accommodates up to 5 people. Hourly billing.

I advise for children of any age, we took the whole family and were satisfied.

800 rubles per hour.
Pleasure boat Small boat trip, fishing, seagull feeding, hydromassage. Duration up to 1 hour.

I advise for children of all ages. Attention! May be seasick.

1200 rubles for an adult ticket, 700 rubles for a child.
Cruise Big boat trip on a large double-deck boat (small ship). There are excursions for an hour, two, three and a whole day. Unknown.

On and around the coast there are many interesting entertainment suitable for children:

  1. Shooting range, air hockey, ball throwing etc. We spent more than one evening knocking out balls and shooting at targets. The price is 50-100 rubles.
  2. Amusement rides... A large selection of attractions is a definite plus, but keep in mind that not all of them are suitable for children. The average price for attractions is 250-500 rubles.
  3. Dolphinarium, crocodile farm, mill, water park... We highly recommend visiting all these places if finances permit. In neighboring cities, such as, and, all these rides look better, but the price is much higher. Example: a water park in Arkhipo-Osipovka cost 1000 rubles, in neighboring Gelendzhik - from 2500 rubles (but the difference in level is colossal). Nevertheless, our child was insanely happy about all this, although he was scared of the most high slides In aquapark.

Of the excursions I would like to note waterfalls and grottoes- an incredible sight, although in August the water flow is much worse than in June. And here dolmens were not at all impressed, the child is already frankly bored, wandering among the stones.

It is very difficult to save money on the Black Sea coast. But we found the best, in our opinion, way.

It is best to stay in private houses. You can learn a lot from the hosts interesting places, secrets of economy and much more. For example, they gave us a discount on excursions to the waterfalls, took us to the wine cellar for free, showed us the place where they catch crabs at night and treated our son to berries and nuts.

Negative review: cons of Arkhipo-Osipovka

Not everyone is delighted with the rest in Arkhipo-Osipovka. Alice, who had a rest here last year with her child, wrote to us. Below are her unpleasant impressions:

In the summer of 2016, our choice fell on Arkhipo-Osipovka, which friends praised as a quiet, calm place that is perfect for both adults and children. We will not go there again, as there were more negative points than positive ones.

The worst thing we've faced attempted kidnapping(fortunately, not ours). While the parents at 11 o'clock in the morning were engaged in the destruction of alcohol on an industrial scale (in Arkhipka there is everything for this condition), a woman who looked like a gypsy approached a girl of about six years old, talked to her for a couple of minutes, took her hand and tried to take her away ...

Seeing this picture, a drunken mother forced the father to take the child, and he tried to catch up with the gypsy woman on her wobbly legs. In this situation, the reaction of the police officers who patrolled the embankment and the beach was encouraging - they immediately reacted, returned the child to their parents and detained a strange woman.

The positive thing is the work of rescuers, who notified especially irresponsible parents about the prohibition of swimming in a storm, got children out of the water, turned over in vests, etc.

The second significant disadvantage of Arkhipka is creepy unsanitary toilets where it is scary to go and pollution in general. Despite the fact that rubbish bins are placed every five meters, our compatriots prefer to throw beer glasses, bottles and other rubbish right on the beach, as a result, children rush right over this rubbish.

The waterslide and catamarans are frankly dirty, and a lot. Children are caught from the slide by not very sober work of the attraction, which does not inspire confidence.

The amusement park did not please with the fact that in the mini-zoo there are no sanitary documents for animals however, there are no veterinary documents on animals with which you can take pictures on the beach (several species of monkeys and birds).

For those who are thinking where to go on vacation at sea: to Arkhipo-Osipovka, Gelendzhik or Kabardinka?
I'll start from afar and with seemingly banal things: 1) before the planned vacation period, be sure to check the weather at the place of the proposed vacation with an emphasis on wind speed, it will be very disappointing to allocate 7 days from vacation and 3 of them not be able to plunge into the sea; 2) It is better to look for a place of residence on the spot, this does not constitute a problem, in resort towns 80% of the population is ready to rent you housing. Do not be scared and immediately rush to the Internet in search of housing on the Internet housing is much more expensive. Remember, a prerequisite is the presence of an air conditioner or, even better, a split system, overpay 200 rubles per day, but you do not have to languish from the heat and sweat like in a bath, and it is hot during the season not only during the day, but all 24 hours a day. Do not hesitate to go into the bathroom and make sure that the toilet bowl and shower are in good working order, see how the toilet bowl flushes and in what condition it is, in principle, also check the shower for hot and cold water, in every second apartment the air conditioner, shower or toilet does not work at the proper level, and if after a day you want to return the money for one reason or another, you will be accused of carelessness and absurdity of character, the money may not be returned. All homeowners lease premises on a prepaid basis, the longer you check in, the lower the price per day of stay. Housing prices in Gelendzhik, Kabardinka and Arkhipo-Osipovka are the same. 3) It is not worth taking a lot of things, but without fail it is 3 towels, a beach mat, some pants, a sweatshirt, thermal underwear, sneakers, slippers that do not rub because most often you have to walk a lot, a hat. 4) Do not buy watermelons at all, if you do not want to spoil your vacation, they are all richly fed with saltpeter, which can lead to poisoning. 5) Be careful with your ears, especially if you like to swim longer and more often, frequent liquid entering the ear canal can cause congestion and inflammation, and this is terribly unpleasant, actively use a swimming cap, it will help to avoid such problems.

KABARDINKA. Being there at the end of July, the population there literally has nowhere to fall. Basically, the entire contingent consists of elderly people and their young grandchildren. The coastline is short, which will require a lot of intellectual and physical strength from you to find a refuge. The water is almost always calm, there is a pier from which it is allowed to jump and dive, interesting activity, you will not find this either in Gelendzhik or in Arkhipo-Osipovka. Pebble beach, clean and comfortable. The bottom in the equipped bathing areas is 90% even, without large peaks and sharp drops in depth. In the evening, you can also swim and, in addition, attractions and scams begin to work. Briefly speaking about scams, they are most developed here and feel great, unlike the other two sites presented. Among the scams, I referred to hanging on a rotating bar for 2 minutes, climbing a rotating ladder, raising a bottle with a fishing rod, etc. But I liked the evening program here the most, it is really interesting here, it seemed to me that it would be even more interesting in Gelendzhik, but I was wrong, there are other pluses about them further.

Gelendzhik. I want to say right away that the local people there seemed to me some kind of aggressive and sometimes inadequate, sometimes they didn’t even understand, I apologize in advance, I’m not talking about everyone, maybe I only came across such people. A city with a population of about 80 thousand, the beaches are much more spacious due to their greater length, but often you come across places with a "killed" bottom, bumps and stones with a sharp edge, you need to be more careful. The coast is sandy and pebbles, I generally respect pebbles more, but at this stage I chose sand, because the bottom is just beautiful in such places, it is also worth considering that jellyfish often invade Gelendzhik, but they are not dangerous and some kind of sticks and branches are floating , literally everywhere, but disappear after a couple of days. I spent three days in each of the three given areas, a sufficient time for a young man to get rid of these areas at the proper level. There is a water park "Zolotaya Bukhta" here, it is worth paying attention to, there are a lot of slides and for every taste, this is one of the largest water parks in Europe. I advise you to climb also cable car on the mountain on which there is also a Ferris wheel, if you are a contemplator. There are no scams at all, apparently the law enforcement agencies do not allow such activities on the territory of the city. Speaking of restaurants, cafes and nightclubs, this infrastructure is well developed in all areas, only the amount will have to be left there. I do not recommend staying here if you want to fully enjoy the sea.

Arkhipo-Osipovka. On the very first day, she met us with cloudy weather, and with a wind up to 10 m / s, which provoked waves of impressive size, those responsible were not allowed into the water, but people, despite the prohibitions, still stood near the shore and enjoyed the fact that the waves hit them on their feet , here you can fully experience what the ebb and flow is. The next day, the weather calmed down, the sun peeped out, the waves diminished but remained, swimming in them causes indescribable delight. It is much more interesting for me to swim in the waves than in their absence. Locals said that in "Arkhipka" the waves are much more frequent than in Gelendzhik or "Arkhipka", throughout the area geographical position favors.

If you try to summarize, then it is as follows: in principle, all 3 sections are similar, but differ only in little things, but as you know, little things do not solve anything, little things decide everything. I ask you for possible grammatical errors, I wrote quickly, there was no time to double-check, while I wanted to present the material as fully as possible and at the same time in a concise form, which may be useful for many.

In a small resort village most of the rest is warm and cozy. From May to September, you can sunbathe and swim here. It rains from time to time in winter and summer. In the warm season, the resort is surrounded by greenery. Well-groomed lawns with walking paths and numerous cafes are located along the embankment. The beaches in the village are wide.

Tourists arriving on vacation in Arkhipo-Osipovka in the 2019 season prefer to rent housing without intermediaries. You need to book a room in advance, at least a week in advance. There may be no vacancies during the high season. If you book your accommodation in advance, you can often save 10-15% of the price in 2-3 months.

Geographical proximity to Gelendzhik and actual belonging to legendary resort seemingly relieves Arkhipo-Osipovka of the notorious independence. Not all tourists perceive the village 125 kilometers from Krasnodar as an independent unit. However, this municipality does not suffer much from such a situation. Probably, it is the territorial aspect that is the necessary trump card in the sleeve, allowing the "village" on the Black Sea coast to receive a constant stream of vacationers. A place with views of the Russian backwoods, but endowed with classic (albeit provincial) nobility every summer receives crowds of vacationers, without thinking about legal subordination to one or another locality. The streets filled with pedestrians and crowded beaches make one ignore not too significant episodes in the biography of the famous Arhipka.

Let's go to Arhipka!

Despite the name “village”, Arkhipo-Osipovka is in no way synchronized with the concept of “submission of civilization”. First of all, this concerns transport hubs that allow tourists to reach their destination without any difficulties. In fact, the vicinity of Gelendzhik does not need additional improvement of road traffic (using the facilities of the older brother). Nevertheless, the infrastructure looks pretty solid, without frightening vacationers with sad contrasts with the famous neighbor.

Airplane? Yes exactly!

The presence of an airport in Gelendzhik solves the problem of movement in the vicinity of the Kuban health resort. Not in the sense that “ Harbour Air»Will lead the passenger directly to small village... However, its good location eliminates the hassle of transferring to smaller areas. Krasnodar Territory.

Buses and taxis

Unlike many small villages on the Black Sea coast, the path to Arkhipo-Osipovka does not look like an endless obstacle course. In principle, the famous village can be reached from any city in the Krasnodar Territory. The presence of the bus station on the territory of Arkhipka speaks for itself. Most visitors prefer to use as transit zone Novorossiysk (the ticket costs around 200 rubles) and Krasnodar (the price of the trip is about 350 units in the same calculation). Although, there are flights from, say, Armavir. In the same way, you can get to Arkhipo-Osipovka by taxi. We believe that for this method of movement it is better to choose urban areas not too distant from the village. For example, a road from Krasnodar will empty your wallet for about 2.5 thousand rubles, a voyage from Novorossiysk - for about a thousand in our national currency.

Hello dear guests!

The compactness of the settlement does not prevent it from rapidly developing the hotel industry. The number of offers of this kind here is comparable to the most popular resorts. Russian Federation... The fusion of the private sector and commercial buildings creates a sense of a global rental market. However, the price demands of elite rooms are within the reach of the average budget. Well, about the apartments from local residents, in this vein, and should not be said. Hotel-type structures, although they do not strive for architectural standardization, prefer not to stop at the highest heights. There are practically no multi-storey hotels here. However, most of these establishments try to accommodate all service sectors. Usually there is a cafe (subordinate to the "Hilton"), and a swimming pool (diving in which is included in the price). The price depends on the class and capacity of the room, but usually it ranges from two thousand rubles to infinity in 24 hours.

Budget hotel vs private sector

There are also lower class hotels here. But the rooms themselves are not too different from the more expensive options in the neighboring complexes. The lack of food outlets and a personal reservoir on the territory of the building is usually compensated by the presence of inexpensive cafes nearby and proximity to the Black Sea coast... Here for a daily stay you will be charged in the region of 1,500 rubles. Private sector usually competes with the sanatorium facilities that remained in Arkhipo-Osipovka after the collapse of the USSR. The aforementioned complexes most often look something similar to cottage village... True, the buildings give off a rustic flavor. In principle, summer cottages are in no way inferior to competitors. In addition, the initial price from the latter is significantly lower. 800 rubles against one and a half thousand.

Heat of water and air

Gelendzhik region during holiday season rarely visit weather disasters. Actually, the possessions of Arkhipo-Osipovka follow the same principles. The warm air walking along the coast keeps the temperature in the range from 25 to 35 degrees. Already in mid-May it can be considered bathing season not just open, but gaining momentum. Although, of course, the peak of tourist activity occurs in the first two summer months. On the other hand, August and the debut of September is a very popular time for vacationers.

When does the season start?

May, of course, in itself, is conducive to a visit to the resorts. Alas, the Black Sea, located in the patrimony of Arkhipo-Osipovka, by the beginning of the final month of spring, sometimes fails to gain stability in terms of the temperature of the water spaces. However, more often warm currents heat the reservoir, if not for the holiday of labor, then for the day of the great victory - for sure! June and July are traditionally the most popular months for holidays in Arkhipo-Osipovka. Of course, this part of the Gelendzhik region is by no means original. By the beginning of summer, the weather is close to ideal and does not lose its blissful stability. The water is heated to optimal temperatures and bathing is very close to the concept of "pleasure". However, one should not forget that the course of mountain rivers is capable of making its own adjustments. 11 degrees at sea, at the time of the established heat - this happens, however, it lasts no more than a day. August and September are an opportunity for late vacationers to make up for lost time. The air temperature is not too different from earlier periods of summer. The same is true for water. In a word, he warmly welcomes the guests of Arkhipo-Osipovka almost until the end of the first autumn month.

What to do at the resort?
