Main route to Domodedovo. Trunk (route network)

October 5th, 2016

Well, here we are waiting for another major transport event in the city. This Saturday, October 8, a completely new surface public transport network will be introduced in the city center.

We have repeatedly written that the existing surface transport in the center is nothing more than the remnants of the former greatness of a convenient and thoughtful system that existed before the transfer of most of the streets of the center to one-way traffic. Since the one-way traffic around the Kremlin was introduced in the center in 1993, the routes have been distorted to the point of being unusable. Later, several more changes were introduced that finally finished off public transport: a number of intersections of the Garden Ring were blocked, oncoming dedicated lanes were closed, left turns were canceled, a number of streets were switched to one-way traffic, or the streets became completely pedestrian.

The existing scheme of land transport in the center.

All this led to the fact that transport began to walk on strange and incomprehensible routes. This affected the decrease in passenger traffic and an increase in the interval. Transport, which runs on different routes, provides a purely one-way service, which means that a person cannot count on it, since it is inferior and inconvenient.

A classic example: a trolleybus of route No. 1 followed different routes in the city center due to the fact that Mokhovaya Street is one-way. As a result, you can get from Tverskaya Street to Yakimanka only by metro, but it will take about half an hour, and even go through a significant part of the route on foot. Of course, this situation is completely unacceptable for a city that is trying to make public transport convenient, affordable and attractive, including for motorists.

Alas, not everything was done in 2016 in terms of infrastructure. Work on the reconstruction of Lubyanskaya and Slavyanskaya squares, as well as Sretenka and Bolshaya Lubyanka streets were postponed until next year. However, at least the first stage of the new public transport network will be launched here as well.

Work on the new surface public transport network began in the summer. A working group was organized at the site of the Department of Transport with the involvement of transport experts, specialists from the Department of Transport, Mosgortrans and city design institutes. Without exaggeration, we managed to gather the best specialists on these issues in the city. The group was led by Jarrett Walker, a world leader in the development of land transport route networks.

Finally, after several days of almost round-the-clock work, the final proposals were formed, which, with minor modifications and additions, formed a new route network in the center.

Clickable.
Trunk routes- the main and longest. They will connect several districts of Moscow at once with the center and among themselves, for example, Leninsky with Leningradsky Prospekt, Luzhniki and Semyonovskaya, Nagatinskaya and Polezhaevskaya. These routes are marked with a thick line on the new map. Movement interval: 5 - 10 minutes. These are the fastest and most frequent routes on the network.

District routes- shorter ones: they will connect the districts with the center. They are easy to get to the main route or take a short trip. Movement interval: 10 - 15 minutes.

Social routes help Moscow residents get to My Documents centers, polyclinics, passport offices and other socially significant places. Movement interval: up to 30 minutes.

The approach to the traffic schedule itself has also changed: transport is switching to a clock schedule. For example, passengers will know that at peak times the main bus from Tverskaya Street to Leninsky Prospekt runs every eight minutes. And if a person came to a stop, and the bus door closed in front of him, then in eight minutes the next one will arrive.

In addition, public transport will return to a number of streets in the city center, from where it disappeared in previous decades: Neglinnaya Street, Petrovka, Bolshaya Nikitskaya Street. The density of the ground transport network will increase, new stops will appear. All this will also increase the attractiveness of public transport in the center.

There is a very common and erroneous belief that ground transport is not needed in the center, because there is a high density of metro stations. Actually, it is not. Pedestrian accessibility of metro stations in the center, on the contrary, is very low. For example, here is a diagram with isochrones showing the distance from metro stations that can be overcome in 5 minutes. Agree, not very much.

Scheme of 5-minute walking distance to metro stations in the center.

As you can see, in the center there are places where you have to go from the metro, spending 10-15 minutes (or even more if you wait at every traffic light). Note that motorists do not go to their parking lots for so long, and the need to spend a lot of time on the street (especially in bad weather) is considered one of the main disadvantages of driving around the city without a car.

More than 700 thousand people live in the Central Administrative District, more than a million people come there to work. In sum, this is the population of an entire city. Every person (living or working in the center) constantly has a need to move within the region. Underground? And the subway does not help at all! The metro is a mainline transport to bring those who live somewhere on the outskirts to the center, and for movement inside the center it is extremely inefficient.

Firstly, there are not everywhere subway stations in the center. Secondly, you will almost certainly have to walk to and from the metro (sometimes more than a kilometer). Thirdly, the metro in the center is very deep. The descent from the sidewalk to the platform takes an average of 3-4 minutes. Fourthly, not always the destination is on the same line with the station where you entered the subway. This means that you need to do more transplants.

As a result, the route of the passenger in the center looks like this on average:
walk to the metro (10 min), descent (3-4 min), 1-2 metro stations, then transfer, then another 1-2 stations, then exit to the city (3-4 min) and walk to the desired place. And in such a paradoxical way, a trip from one place in the center to another takes half an hour, and sometimes more.

At the same time, the trip includes a lot of descents and ascents and transfers, which is very exhausting and does not add to the attractiveness of this type of movement. Therefore, if two points are relatively close to each other, it is easier for people to walk. So they walk for several kilometers in the center, like two centuries ago.

The simplest route from Tverskaya Street to Yakimanka takes 25 minutes. Of these, more than a kilometer on foot:

Are comments necessary for this? In my opinion, the situation is obvious: in the city center there should be convenient and reliable surface public transport. And now he will!

After the implementation of such a project, it is logical to ask the question: what next?

The network being introduced this weekend is just the first step in the reorganization. In 2017, the second stage will take place, which will be associated with the following list of streets reconstructed as part of the My Street program. So, for example, in addition to the already mentioned above Vozdvizhenka, oncoming dedicated lanes will be organized on Sretenka and Bolshaya Lubyanka streets. This will make it possible to straighten the route of the M9 bus and launch it directly to the center without a drawn-out circle along Myasnitskaya Street and the Garden Ring.

The network of dedicated lanes will also be developed. Since now the number of routes in the center will increase, and the intervals will decrease, there is not the slightest doubt that their demand will increase. It would be completely wrong if the new route gets stuck in some kind of traffic jam. In this regard, quite a lot of infrastructural changes will be made in the center.

Changes are ongoing with public transport and on the Garden Ring. As part of the ongoing My Street improvement program, public transport traffic will be withdrawn from tunnels and overpasses, which will make it possible to organize convenient transfer hubs with routes crossing the Garden Ring or with metro stations.

Finally, when the stable operation of the launched routes is established, those that have end points in the center will be combined into diametric routes. So, for example, the M9 route is planned to be merged with the M2 route, and so on. Most likely, this network will be fully operational in 2018.

The network of main routes by 2018

And finally, a couple of answers to the most frequently asked questions.

Why was it necessary to renumber the routes?
Route renumbering served several purposes. First, allocate frequent routes into groups with a separate designation. Now, seeing the letter "M" in the name of the route, the passenger can be sure that this is a main route that runs with a minimum interval. And routes with the letter "C", on the contrary, denote social routes that rarely run. In addition, the "M" routes will have a common numbering for bus and trolleybus routes. This will make it possible to start serving the route with buses now, and eventually transfer some of them to service by electric buses or trolleybuses with autonomous running. By the way, the M1 route will be served by 30% by trolleybuses with an increased autonomous range already in winter.

Why didn't public transport appear along Rozhdestvensky and Sretensky boulevards?
Revealing the details, I will say that many hours were spent discussing this issue. There are no technical or regulatory obstacles to launching there, for example, a bus. But there are other factors. Firstly, the reconstruction of the Boulevard Ring has not yet been completed. Next year, its outer part will be reconstructed, which will lead to a narrowing of the carriageway, including on Rozhdestvensky Boulevard, which, due to the relief, is a rather difficult section of the route. Secondly, the tram that used to run there earlier will probably return to this section. So far, this is all at the level of projects, although the reconstruction of the inner side of Rozhdestvensky and Sretensky boulevards took this into account, and no communications were laid in the zone of the prospective passage of the tram line. True, there is no clarity with the timing here.

As a result, for the time being, it was decided to launch bus route A through Tsvetnoy Boulevard and Sadovoye Koltso, and in the future, some new route may appear to serve this section, with a route in the center. For example, Krasnopresnenskaya - Bolshaya Nikitskaya - Boulevard Ring - Pokrovka - Baumanskaya (as an option, changing the route T25). Again, this is a shortcoming of the scheme, the creators of which are in the know. But it was impossible to do everything at once.

Well, for now, we are waiting for Saturday and new routes in the center! Dealing with them, by the way, will help you

The largest change in the route scheme of surface transport in the center of Moscow over several decades is scheduled for October 8, 2016. According to the Moscow City Hall, from that day new dedicated lanes for public transport will be introduced, new route numbers will appear, as well as their intervals and waiting times at stops - will be reduced.

Operation "Highway"

Like any notable phenomenon of recent years, the new route network received its code designation - "Magistral". The essence of the concept is to form a network of frequent routes along the main directions emerging from the center. The basic intervals for such routes are laid down in the schedules at the level of five to ten minutes. In less busy directions, there will be “district” routes, which in reality can go through at least half of the city territory. Their frequency will be maintained at the level of 10-15 minutes. Up to half an hour there will be an interval for routes that have been assigned the status of "social". And night routes, as before, will work with a cycle of 30 minutes. To explain to passengers the meaning and advantages of the new route network, a special section has been created on the official website of Moscow. Schemes of the new route network have already appeared at some city stops.

Is the crisis over?

As transport gradually left the center, website already told in . It is time for public transport to at least partially return to its former positions.

"M" instead of "C"

The new number sequence for routes will begin with the index " m” (“em-small”), denoting the main routes. According to the developers of the new network, such indexing will allow passengers to quickly recognize that such a route operates with the maximum frequency of traffic, and traffic intervals do not exceed five to ten minutes.

Buses with the index " c» at the end - in the new numbering, these letters will be dispensed with, although the routes themselves will remain with some changes.

Numbers of night routes, as before, will begin with the index " H". And their common meeting place in the center will move from Lubyanskaya Square to Slavyanskaya Square, to the southern lobby of the Kitai-Gorod metro station.

New stops

For the rethought public transport routes, new stops will also work. However, in the last century, most of them worked. In fact, now they are only restoring a part of the 52 stops lost over a quarter of a century. Again, 25 "access points to public transport" will work for passengers:

Buses or trolleybuses?

A number of routes in the new network are announced as trolleybus routes, but from October 8 they will not be able to go to the streets in a “horned” design - the contact network on part of the track has been completely dismantled without plans to restore it. Or, as in the Garden Ring section, the installation of a new network has not yet been completed.

Instead of a route No. T1"Metro" Nagatinskaya "- Botkin Hospital" organizes a route No. m1"Hospital of the Ministry of Railways - Kravchenko Street". It will contain parts of the tracks of the former trolleybus routes № 1 And № 33 . His path will pass along Volokolamskoye Highway, Leningradsky Prospekt, Tverskaya Street, Mokhovaya Street, Bolshoy Kamenny Bridge, Serafimovich Streets, Bolshaya Polyanka and Bolshaya Yakimanka, Leninsky Prospekt. On Mokhovaya Street, the route will use the new stops "Manezhnaya Street" and "Metro" Biblioteka im. IN AND. Lenin.

Since the trolleybus wires on the section of the route between the Udarnik cinema and Nastasinsky lane were removed in May-June, initially 28 buses will run along its route. But during the fall, trolleybuses with an autonomous course of the Trolz from the expected batch of 12 vehicles should be added to them. However, this will not be enough to completely transfer the route to electric transport. 14 buses will operate on the route. Departure from Kravchenko street from 5:00 to 0:00, from the MPS Hospital - from 6:11 to 1:11. On weekends, the traffic interval is 10 minutes, in the early and late hours - up to 20 minutes. Losses in the new network

The introduction of a new route network in the center was not without the cancellation of some stops (there will not be a single public transport route left on them), as well as a break in direct connections.

In particular, the residents of the "island" (the area between the Moscow River and the Vodootvodny Canal) are already concerned. The only route that passed the island almost the entire length - № 6 - from now on it will only cross across. And the connection between Sadovnicheskaya and Kosmodamianskaya embankments with Bolotnaya Square and many central streets will cease.

If we take as a basis the thesis of the designers of the new network that deserves attention that one-way connections are not stable and do not form their own passenger traffic (for example, on a trolleybus № 1 earlier it was possible to get from Tverskaya or 1st Tverskaya-Yamskaya streets to the Boulevard Ring, but it was impossible to get back, since the route back ran through the Kremlin Ring), then even with this criterion there is a loss of direct connections.

The connection of the entire “island” with the Arbat Gate Square has been lost. Forward and return bus routes № 6 here they walked along perpendicular streets, but the distance between opposite stops was only 380 m.

Restoring the route No. T2- successor to the trolleybus route № 2 , this time under No. m2- to Kitay-gorod, at the same time they removed the Boulevard Ring and Prechistenskaya embankment from the route. Meanwhile, from the Kropotkinskaya metro area for almost two decades (since December 1, 1998, when the trolleybus route was opened № 44 ) there was a two-way direct connection with Novy Arbat and Kutuzovsky Prospekt.

Along the already mentioned route No. T1(former trolleybus № 1 ) for decades, a connection was also established between the far part of Tverskaya Street, 1st Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street and the beginning of Leningradsky Prospekt with Bolshaya Polyanka and the Danilovsky district.

Stops without routes:

  • "Cinema "Drummer"" on Sofiyskaya embankment;
  • "Metro "Kitay-gorod"" on Kitaygorodsky proezd;
  • "Metro" Kropotkinskaya "" on Volkhonka Street towards Borovitskaya Square;
  • "Big Stone Bridge" on Prechistenskaya embankment;
  • "Prechistenskaya embankment" on Prechistenskaya embankment.

If these stops, which have become unused at this stage, are now demarcated for the sake of parking or other needs, additional efforts will have to be made in the future to restore them. For example, now Kitaygorodsky passage borders on the construction of the Zaryadye park, and the passenger traffic here is low. But already in 2017-2018 this place will become crowded again.

Once again, the information campaign about the new route network was crumpled. In fact, it began with the publication of a section on the official website of Moscow 4 days before the announced changes.

And again, in Moscow, they decided not to comply with the “Rules for the Transportation of Passengers and Luggage ...” (Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of February 14, 2009 No. 112), which prescribes that information about a change in the schedule must be communicated to passengers on time no later than 10 days before the schedule change date.

In addition, the launch itself at the scheduled time is given with great difficulty. For example, two days before the launch of the Magistral, there were no traffic lights at the intersection of the Garden Ring with Dolgorukovskaya and Malaya Dmitrovka streets.

In the current situation, it would be optimal to either start informing passengers about the launch of routes earlier than October 4, or postpone the launch until the next weekend - for example, October 15.

Why so many name changes?

The introduction of a new route scheme is accompanied by the renaming of a number of routes and stops.

It is not clear why it was necessary to rename the stops "Metro "Alexandrovsky Sad"" into "Metro" Library named after Lenin", "Lubyanskaya Square" - into "Metro "Lubyanka"", and "Trubnaya Square" (on Tsvetnoy Boulevard) - into "Metro "Trubnaya"". The new names reflect the names of the main objects of the area no better than the old ones.

There is more logic in renaming the stop "Central Telegraph" to "Metro Okhotny Ryad". The stop during the reconstruction was moved closer to the metro. Balchug Street on Sofiyskaya Embankment became known as Sofiyskaya Embankment - inherited by the route № 158 inherited from the route № 6 the stop has a "namesake" in the form of the previous stop of the route № 158 on the Bolotnaya embankment.

The renaming of the stops "Trubnaya Square" on Petrovsky Boulevard towards Pushkinskaya Square and "Petrovsky Gates" in the same place towards Trubnaya Square to "Petrovsky Boulevard" is successful, since they are located opposite each other in the middle of the boulevard.

The name of the stop "Nikitskiye Vorota - TASS" on Bolshaya Nikitskaya Street has been simplified. It became known simply as "Nikitsky Gate". The stop at Volkhonka "Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts", on the contrary, was complicated to "Metro Kropotkinskaya - Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts".

It is also unclear whether the name of the Mayakovskaya metro stops will be more informative for passengers instead of the former Triumfalnaya Square on Sadovoye Koltso, Tverskaya Street, 1st Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street and on Oruzheiny Lane.

Renamed and many routes. At the same time, the mention of foreign specialists in the presentation article of the project rather indicates that some aspects of the project were not very successfully copied from somewhere.

In particular, the English “translation” of the term “High-frequency routes” displayed on the new colorful plates is much closer to the point. Indeed, these are rather high-frequency routes than trunk routes. For real main routes, traffic sections with one lane in each direction, as well as terminals such as "Silicate Plant" or "4th Cable Street" look strange.

The translation “Social routes” (“Specialized routes”) is also not literal, which indicates that the term was chosen unsuccessfully.

In the “Local routes” category, the translation is close in meaning to the original, but this category includes routes that pass through the territory of several metropolitan districts, for example, connecting Luzhniki and VDNKh No. T15, or Nagatinsky backwater and the mouth of the Yauza № 156 .

And the declared intervals of movement, as the first acquaintance with the timetables show, do not fully correspond to reality. Route No. m6 on weekends more than once every 12 minutes is not planned, although the trunk category provides for a “fork” of 5-10 minutes. There would be no contradictions if the route № 6 with its terminus in the industrial zone and a narrow section along Bolshaya Nikitskaya Street, they would not be forcibly declared a main line. The same applies to the main trolleybus route that does not meet the requirements of the main line. No. m8. Its intervals on weekends reach even 30 minutes. The old one would suit him better. № 45 .

Further more

In 2017-2018, the saturation of the central streets with public transport is planned to continue. Several radial routes can be combined into diametrical ones. And the main "highlight" of the new network should be the extension of the dead-end "boulevard" tram line along Akademika Sakharova Avenue to the connection with the existing line near Komsomolskaya Square. But first, in order to complete what has already been promised, it is necessary to restore the movement of trolleybuses along the routes №№ B-black, B-red, 3, 10, 39, 47 And 79 .

Ground transport in Moscow. The new network of bus routes will allow passengers to easily move between the center and the outskirts, using only land transport. At the same time, a number of old routes will change, so you need to familiarize yourself with the Magistral traffic scheme in advance.

For example, using "Magistral", you can come from a residential area to the business center, move to another part of the center of Moscow to meet friends or attend a cultural event, and then return home - and all this by land transport.

The Moscow authorities expect that thanks to the launch of the Magistral transport system, by 2017, passenger traffic on land transport will increase, which will become more reliable and convenient: buses and trolleybuses will run at a predictable interval of 5-10 minutes, routes will become more comfortable.

How to use MCC>>

New routes

In total, 39 bus and trolleybus routes will be organized and changed, and 24 new stops will be added.

Routes of the "Magistrali" will contain the letter "M" in the name. M1 will run along Leningradsky Prospekt, M2 - along Kutuzovsky, M3 - along Komsomolsky, M4 - along Leninsky, M5 and M6 - along Varshavsky, M7 - along Ryazansky, M8 - along Entuziastov Highway and M9 - along Mira Avenue.

In addition to the existing ones, 24 new stops are being introduced in the center of Moscow, 12 of which are located in areas where public transport has not run since the 90s.

Three new types of routes will appear in Moscow: main, regional and social.

Trunk routes will be the main and longest. They will connect remote areas of the capital both with the center and with each other. In particular, the routes will connect Leninsky and Leningradsky avenues, the Luzhniki stadium and the Semenovskaya metro station, the Vladykino and Kitai-Gorod metro stations. Movement intervals will be 5 - 10 minutes.

District routes will be shorter - they will connect the sleeping areas with the center. Passengers will be able to easily get to the main routes or make small trips on them. Movement intervals - 10-15 minutes.

Social routes will allow Muscovites to quickly get to the My Documents centers, polyclinics, multifunctional centers and other socially significant places. Intervals of movement - up to 30 minutes.

Which routes will change

In addition to new bus routes, a number of existing ones are being changed. Some existing routes have been renamed and “straightened”, for example, trolleybus route No. 62 (Udarnik cinema - Leninsky Prospekt) has become M4, bus number 6 has become M6 (previously it moved along Vozdvizhenka in one direction, and along Gogolevsky Boulevard in the other , will now walk back and forth along the same streets).

In the area of Dolgorukovskaya and Barrikadnaya streets, through traffic will appear through the Garden Ring. Buses used to go there, turn around, go back (now they will just go straight).

In addition, the movement of express routes No. 144 and 904, as well as night routes H1 - H6, will change. And that's not counting brand new bus routes.

Details of all the changes in the movement of ground transport in Moscow can be found on the schemes "Magistral".

"Highway" schemes

Route maps within the Magistral network will appear at all public transport stops in the center of Moscow, and will also be displayed in the Yandex.Transport service and mobile application.

In addition, new stop flags, maps and stencils have been developed for the launch of Magistral. For the first time, for the convenience of passengers, old and new route numbers will be displayed on the stencils, the main routes will be marked with thick multi-colored lines.

Fare

More than 100 new modern buses with soft seats and air conditioning will run on the new routes of the Magistral network. The same tickets will be valid for travel on buses as in other types of ground transport in Moscow, including Troika cards.

Benefits and prospects

When developing a new transport system, three main criteria were taken into account:

The routes will run where passengers need them most, in densely populated residential areas and in the center of the capital;

Stops are organized in the maximum accessibility from a large number of shopping, cultural and business centers so that passengers can reach them on foot;

Linearity and symmetry: routes are organized without loops and deviations, while stops are located on both sides of the road, with the possibility of crossing.

According to the press service of the Moscow City Hall, new routes and stops will gradually be included in the Magistral scheme. At the same time, new dedicated lanes for surface urban transport will appear, and road markings will be improved. The last phase of the Magistral network will be launched in 2017.

“People are getting used to bus routes, and their global reform is fraught with great inconvenience for passengers. The fact that ground transport is waiting for serious changes, the capital's officials started talking just the other day, and they intend to launch the "Magistral" on Saturday. Meanwhile, the biggest problems for passengers, such as being late for work and other troubles, may arise on Monday, when the Magistral will work at full capacity, ”says Petr Shkumatov, coordinator of the Blue Bucket Society movement.

More than three dozen new city bus routes are preparing to open this year in Moscow. The plans of the capital's transport workers for the coming months will not let passengers get bored. For many directions, it is still necessary to select carriers and conclude state contracts with them. For the rest of the novelties, Mosgortrans will be responsible.

"New model": everything according to the old rules?

The largest number of route openings is expected in August-October 2018, when carriers selected on the basis of competitions will be able to start working. A little over two years after the auctions for the maintenance of 211 routes along, there is a need to close the gaps in the coverage of several more directions. They can be conditionally divided into four groups - "correcting mistakes", "new social", "New Moscow" and "new connections".

On December 28, 2017, the Moscow Government signed Decree No. 763-RP "On the conclusion of long-term state contracts for the provision of public transport services on the routes of regular transportation of passengers and luggage by road in urban traffic." An additional 8.88 billion rubles have been allocated for these purposes over the next five years. (2018 - 608.53 million rubles, 2019 - 1,723 million rubles, 2020 - 1,762 million rubles, 2021 - 1,747 million rubles, 2022 - 1,820 million rubles and 2023 - RUB 1,220 million). It is these amounts that the State Institution "Organizer of Transportation" under the leadership of the Moscow Department of Transport will be able to operate by announcing auctions for the right to service new routes.

Like last time, carriers on the routes will work for five years. To be more precise, the provision of services by them should end in 2,009 calendar days from the date of the conclusion of the state contract. At the same time, they must enter the route no later than six months after signing this document and then carry out transportation within 1,826 days. It is planned to play 29 routes between carriers, on which 197 buses will operate (145 large, 18 medium and 34 small class).

First of all, they decided to carry out “work on the mistakes”. The first five competitions of the "one route" were announced the very next day after the signing of the above order - December 29, 2017. The remaining 24 routes were distributed among three competitive proposals announced on January 30, 2018.

The maximum initial price of contracts for all eight purchases announced by the Organizer of Transportation in December-January is 7.646 billion rubles. Even more than a billion rubles, allocated under the same order, is still “in reserve”.

"Working on bugs"

Not in all directions, after the launch of 211 routes according to the rules and the subsequent cancellation of "minibuses", it was possible to eliminate the shortage of transportation capacity. In some places, "squeezing" the maximum number of flights out of the possibilities of existing contracts was used (an increase in traffic by 10%). Somewhere the routes were modified up to the transfer to other parts of the city, somewhere Mosgortrans was called in for help. And still there were areas in which it was necessary to think about opening additional routes. Which, however, in many ways are very reminiscent of the old ones. This group includes seven routes.

Route № 333 prepared in support of the route № 330 "Ulitsa Fedosino - Metro "Yasenevo"" on the busiest section from the Novoperedelkino district to the nearest metro station along its route. In addition, it will allow you to quickly get from Novoperedelkino to Yugo-Zapadnaya, as it follows without stopping at the Solntsev microdistricts along the streets of Aviators, Volynskaya and the 50th anniversary of October, and will go straight along Borovskoye highway.

Route № 324 on the section from the 2nd Mosfilmovsky lane to the Kievsky railway station will unload the route № 320 , with which here it completely coincides on the track, being its semi-express variant. However, the new route will be longer, reaching the Park Pobedy metro station.

Route № 580 combines two problem areas served by routes No. 51k And 410 .

The letter "k" in the route number No. 456k not deceiving - it's really just a shortened version of the route № 456 (from the Mitino area to the middle of Leningradsky Prospekt). Route No. 551k not so simple: it will strengthen the route № 551 on the middle section of the route, but its final ones are somewhat away from the line of the "old" route.

Two new routes №№ 449 And 974 ) until the summer of 2016, they worked quite successfully in a different format - as “minibuses” No. 249m And 274m. To the misfortune of the passengers, they passed to the “pilot area” of Izmailovo, where, during the implementation of the transport reform, they tried to get by with the forces of one “Mosgortrans”, at a minimum compensating for the unique transport links that it did not serve.

Routes Nos. 324, 333, 456k, 551k, 580 are additions to routes Nos. 51k, 320, 330, 410, 456, 551. In order to put things in order with transportation on the sections of their joint route, it would be nice in 2021 (after the expiration of the contracts concluded in 2015-2016) to re-calculate the need for transportation and revise the route routes. But new contracts are also planned to be concluded for the "traditional" five years. This means that in three years, contractual obligations will not allow creating optimal routes from scratch.

"New Social"

Several routes with sometimes intricate routes will be opened to connect local residents with social facilities (polyclinics, public service centers, and others). They will continue the line FROM”-routes, which after last year's changes, there are already 12, and by the end of this year there will be at least one and a half times more. The prescribed number of buses for them should be enough to provide "social" traffic intervals - every 20-30 minutes.

Another "social" route will open in New Moscow.

"New Moscow"

The road infrastructure received from the Moscow Region turned out to be so cumbersome and lagging behind the capital's standards that even five years later, not everyone managed to improve it. If cars have got the hang of driving on roads even with a temporary gravel coating, then regular bus transportation cannot be launched in such conditions.

This was partly the reason why the city "minibuses" remained in New Moscow - after they were canceled in "old Moscow" and Zelenograd. And the inhabitants of the villages of Evseevo and Kuvekino still remember how in the “regional” times a “minibus” went from them to Vatutinki and the Tyoply Stan metro station. As it turned out later, she worked without the necessary permits. But “by all the rules” it was not possible to organize a new route: it is necessary to reconstruct and expand several kilometers of a not very strategically important road. Nothing will change in the transport accessibility of these villages in 2018. But it's good for others.

For the first time in history, several settlements of the Ryazanovskoye settlement will receive bus service at once. Buses will also reach Promyshlennaya Street on the outskirts of Troitsk, as well as to the nearby village of Puchkovo. The village of Shelomovo will be connected to the village of Kievsky and the Bekasovo-1 and Bekasovo-Sortirovochnoe stations. Commercial minibuses connecting Yugo-Zapadnaya metro station, Moskovsky, pos. Mosrentgen and Yuzhnoye Butovo with the MEGA Tyoply Stan shopping center will be replaced by large-class buses operating according to the approved city tariff menu.

Along the route No. C18 bus traffic was organized before the competition, extending the route for this purpose № 891 "Metro "Teply Stan" - Novovatutinsky prospekt." On its old route, part of the buses continued to work under No. 891k. After opening the route No. C18 route № 891 will be able to straighten, connecting the village. Vatutinki with "Teply Stan" without a stop in the microdistrict. New Vatutinki.

Apparently, simultaneously with the opening of regular fare routes in New Moscow №№ 306, 307, 308, 446, 485, 953, 967 similar "minibuses" will stop working №№ 22, 50, 46, 1011, 953, 967 . They will “ask” commercial carriers to leave also from directions that are duplicated by the already existing routes of Mosgortrans, - №№ 304, 398, 433, 504, 512, 521, 531, 577, 590, 592, 600, 804, 882, 887, 895, 952, 985 .

Less clear is the fate of the routes №№ 53, 522, 548, 885, 894 as well as №№ 1, 2, 4 in the area of Shcherbinka station, because they are not repeated by either the existing or planned Moscow city routes at regulated rates.

The districts of Northern and Southern Butovo will be connected by another route - № 523 , providing transportation to Butovo station, through which one of the first two lines will pass. Thanks to the route № 325 the Matveevskoye metropolitan area will receive a connection with the Ramenki metro station, which was launched last year.

The metro is still being dug, and the routes have already been drawn

The number of Moscow metro stations will definitely increase this year. But information about the change in public transport routes will be made public closer to the dates of the opening of new lines. Nevertheless, two changes in the operation of city routes are planned, taking into account the unfinished Okruzhnaya metro station, which, according to optimistic forecasts, will be launched this spring.

Route No. 24k"VDNH Hotels - Metro Maryina Roshcha" in the direction of Maryina Roshcha will leave the hotels along the planned passage 1564A and Gostinichny proezd, where the Okruzhnaya metro stop is planned, then leaving for Gostinichnaya Street and then on its usual route.

A bus route No. 677k will not remain at the metro stations and MCC "Vladykino", reduced to the Okruzhnaya station. However, the turn will be made along the new route - through Lokomotivny pr., Stantsionnaya st., Gostinichny pr., Gostinichnaya st., Station st. with the introduction of the stop "Metro "Okruzhnaya"".

It is possible that a change in the trolleybus route will also be timed to coincide with the opening of the metro. № 36 "VDNKh (southern entrance) - Beskudnikovsky lane". Its route should go along Dmitrovskoye Highway to the final stop "Dmitrovskoye Highway, 155". At the same time, he will leave Seligerskaya Street and Beskudnikovsky lane with a boulevard. At the end of the year, it is planned to produce electric buses for this direction, and the infrastructure for its maintenance is being prepared taking into account the new route.

First electric bus routes

Started by Mosgortrans, with a positive pace of development, should be crowned with the appearance of the first passenger lines serviced by a completely new type of rolling stock. According to the calendar schedule for the delivery of new equipment in September-November 2018, serial samples should arrive in Moscow, and the total number of operating electric buses should reach 300 units by the end of the year.

In the tender documentation, you can find the numbers of 20 routes that are going to be served by electric buses as early as 2018. Taking into account their routes, the installation locations of charging stations for ultra-fast charging were also determined.

Eight such routes are now trolleybus:

  • № 7 "Metro "Park Pobedy" - Cinema "Udarnik"";
  • No. 34k"St. Kravchenko - Kievsky railway station ";
  • № 36 "VDNKh (southern) - Dmitrovskoe shosse, 155";
  • № 42 "Rizhsky railway station - Metro "Dynamo"";

  • № 80 "6th microdistrict of Bibirev - Ostashkovskaya street";
  • № 83 Ussuriyskaya st. - Metro "Preobrazhenskaya Ploshchad".

Twelve more - bus, but four of them were previously served by trolleybuses:

  • No. T25"Ave. Budyonny - Metro "Lubyanka"";
  • № 31 Ostashkovskaya st. - Metro "Bibirevo"";
  • № 33 "VDNH (southern) - Metro" Vladykino "";

Trolleybuses or buses?

The Moscow Department of Transport approved changes to the register of city regular transportation routes, according to which trolleybus transportation should be replaced by buses in several directions. There is no urgent technical need for this, because the installation of the contact network, provided for by the reconstruction project, continues on Tverskaya Zastava Square.

In addition to the routes extended at the beginning of autumn, trolleybus routes №№ 20 "Serebryany Bor - Belorussky Station", 70 "Brattsevo - Belorussky railway station", 82 "Hospital of the Ministry of Railways - Belorussky Station" and 56 Bazovskaya Street - 2nd Lesnoy Lane will also be able to reach Tverskaya Zastava without changing the mode of transport. The restored contact network will also allow the resumption of service by trolleybuses of the route № 18 . However, whether trolleybuses will run along Tverskaya Zastava is still unknown.

The feasibility of extending the route № 82 to the Tverskaya Zastava in general raises questions. At one time, it was organized as a replacement for the tram line removed from Leningradsky Prospekt and 1st Botkinsky Proezd. The connection of the area adjacent to the Botkin hospital with Leningradsky Prospekt, according to traffic conditions, is possible only with a drawn-out U-turn under the Tverskoy overpass. To increase this race by an extra kilometer with several traffic lights on the way will only worsen the conditions for the transportation of passengers, for the sake of which the route appeared at the time. At the same time, the connection between Tverskaya Zastava and Leningradsky Prospekt and the beginning of the Volokolamskoye Highway is provided by routes №№ m1, H1, 456, 904, 904k, which can also be joined by the route No. 70 (T70).

Echoes of "My Street"

The bus route should start operating in April № 216 "Luzhniki Stadium (southern) - Metro" Krasnopresnenskaya "". Its route will pass along the embankments of the Moskva River, reconstructed in 2017, taking into account the organization of regular passenger traffic. Buses will proceed along Novoluzhnetsky pr., Luzhnetskaya and Frunzenskaya emb., st. Khamovnichesky shaft, Luzhnetsky and Novodevichy pr., Savvinskaya, Rostovskaya, Smolenskaya and Krasnopresnenskaya embankments, pl. Free Russia, Konyushkovskaya st. and st. Zamorenova. It is planned to operate four buses of medium and large class on the route. Passengers will be received by new stops Novodevichy Cemetery, Novodevichy Convent, Novodevichy Pr., Savvinskaya Embankment, Moskovsky Silk, 2nd Per. Truzhenikov, Bogdan Khmelnitsky Bridge, Smolenskaya Embankment and Novoarbatsky Bridge.

More routes for MCC

In the coming weeks, with a high probability, an end will be put to the issue of transporting passengers to the Likhobory MCC station. The new access road (Projected passage No. 490) was in a high degree of readiness in the autumn of 2016. However, until now the movement of buses on it has not been organized. In the year and a half that has passed since the inclusion of bus routes to the Likhobory station in the city register, one of them managed to change the number without working even a day. "virtual" route No. 123k"Metro "Petrovsko-Razumovskaya" - St. Likhobory” was assigned № 323 , under which he will start working. It will pass along Lokomotivny pr., st. Lines of the Oktyabrskaya railway, Bolshaya Akademicheskaya st., 4th Novomikhalkovskiy pr. and Projected passage No. 490.

From the stop "NAMI" should move to the station Likhobory and the final stops of bus routes №№ 22 "St. March 8 - US "and 139 "Metro "Water Stadium" - NAMI".

Restored from December 26, 2017 after the opening of the reconstructed Belokamenny overpass bus route № 75 still does not call at the stop "Station Belokamennaya" provided for by the register between the stops "Training Center of the Ministry of Health" and "Yauzskaya Alley". Unlike Likhobor, there are no positive developments in the construction of an access road to the MCC station.

One can only guess whether another "frozen" route connected with the MCC will start operating this year - № 47 "Metro "Technopark" - Station ZIL". Road construction in the area of the built-up area of ZIL is quite active. But whether everything is ready for the launch of buses here, only time will tell.

Two more routes long approved by the Moscow Department of Transport could improve communication with the MCC stations Rokossovsky Bulvar and Lokomotiv. Their non-work can only be explained by organizational reasons of the carrier - for example, a lack of buses or drivers. The road conditions on their routes do not cause any complaints: on any of the roads they use, other public transport is already running.

The first one is the route № 783 "Kamchatskaya street - Metro" Rokossovsky Boulevard "". Its route will pass along Khabarovsk, Baikal and Irkutskaya streets, 2nd Irtysh passage, Montazhnaya street, st. Nikolai Khimushin, Tagilskaya st., Otkrytomu sh. and Ivanteevskaya st. 10 buses of the State Unitary Enterprise "Mosgortrans" of a large class should work here.

The second is a semi-express bus route № 941 "Kamchatskaya street - Metro" Preobrazhenskaya square "", which is planned to walk along Khabarovskaya st., Schelkovsky sh. and Bolshoi Cherkizovskaya st. with intermediate stops "Khabarovskaya street, 20", "Altaiskaya street", "Baikalskaya street", "Khabarovskaya street", "Shchelkovskaya metro station", "Kaloshino", "PO Sokol", "Cherkizovskaya metro station" and "Khalturinskaya street". 16 Mosgortrans buses of large and extra-large classes should go on the route.

From Tverskaya Zastava to Kurkino

Extended last year to Tverskaya Zastava bus route № 905 according to previously approved plans, it should last beyond the Moscow Ring Road. Instead of the terminal station built at the time “in an open field” in the area of the 75th kilometer of the Moscow Ring Road, it will reach the Kurkino residential area. The new section of the route will run along Leningradskoe shosse, MKAD, Projected passage No. 6699, Novokurkinskoe shosse. and Sokolovo-Meshcherskaya st. Here, the semi-express route will follow with all stops along the route, while on Leningradskoye Shosse and Leningradsky Prospekt, buses take and drop off passengers only at key stops.

How long can you wait for changes?

For twenty-nine new routes, which are now being contested, the carriers have not yet been identified, and this information is not included in the city's route register. That is why passengers are not yet able to use them. It is necessary to wait for the completion of the competitive selection, the conclusion of the state contract and the fulfillment of the preparatory conditions stipulated by it.

The situation is different with approved routes, for which the carrier has long been known, and this is Mosgortrans State Unitary Enterprise. A whole group of routes either work on old routes, which the registry has already abandoned, or do not work at all (routes №№ 783, 941 ).

Back in 2016, changes were made to bus routes №№ 76 And 803 in the area of the VDNKh metro station, which would bring the stops closer to the lobby of the VDNKh metro station. Instead of the final station "VDNKh (northern)", the register of routes for them provides for a new terminal on Kosmonavtov Street. And instead of Longitudinal passage, Ostankinsky passage and Prospect Mira are included in the route. In fact, for almost two years, Mosgortrans has been ignoring the routes established by the registry, and passengers have not received the promised and desired service in many directions.

Meanwhile, the register of routes should reflect up-to-date information about the existing routes of regular transportation. From the moment the changes are approved (or the announced date the changes come into force), carriers are required to work according to the new parameters. And to indicate intentions and long-term plans, there is a provided concept of planning documents for regular transportation. With its help, you can resolve all possible conflicts between long-term plans and the current route network, indicating the timing of the planned changes and the necessary procedures for the start of transportation.

However, Moscow, unlike other regions, has not yet mastered this format. As a result, it is extremely difficult to figure out where the carriers themselves drive with violations of the routes, working according to the old schemes, and where, on the contrary, the bold plans of the Department are not supported by the necessary road conditions. Only one thing remains clear: passengers in many directions do not have the opportunity to use routes that exist only “on paper”.

Among the routes of the Moscow tram, the register of city routes also plans changes, about which TR. en. The exact dates have not yet been announced, and in general it is not known whether they will fall in 2018.

On Saturday, October 8, 2016, a new network of ground transport routes "Magistral" was launched in the center of Moscow. Buses have returned to the streets for the first time, where urban traffic has not been carried since the 1990s. Thanks to the introduction of new dedicated lanes and the changes in the organization of traffic, the speed of land transport has increased significantly.

The Magistral network will provide regular communication to almost all sections of the major streets of the center. In the center of Moscow, 24 new stopping points have been introduced, 12 of which are located on streets where public transport has not run since the 1990s. After 20 years, land transport returned to sections of Bolshaya Nikitskaya and Sadovnicheskaya streets. Also, the movement of urban transport along Malaya Dmitrovka Street was again organized.

The total number of rolling stock in the center of Moscow increased by 40% with the commissioning of the Magistral network. In total, 370 buses, trolleybuses and trams run daily on the routes inside the Garden Ring. The average interval of movement on the routes has been reduced by 2 times (from 16 to 8 minutes). It is expected that within 2 years the passenger traffic of ground transport in the center of Moscow will increase by 2-3 times and reach 1 million people a day. This will allow removing up to 20% of the load from the busiest metro stations and transfer hubs inside the Circle Line.

For the convenience of Muscovites, route routes have been optimized, and changes have been made to route numbering. The new trunk routes, running during the day at intervals of 5–10 minutes, received the designation "m" in front of the digit of the number. Thus, the route "m1", passing from Kravchenko Street to the Hospital of the Ministry of Railways, forms a stable transport connection of two important city highways: Leninsky Prospekt and Tverskaya Street. Next to the new number on the route and stop signs, for the first time, the previous route number will also be indicated.

Signs at public transport stops have become more attractive and informative for passengers. By the launch of Magistral in the center of Moscow, they have been completely updated. At all stop pavilions along the routes following the routes, a new scheme for the movement of routes in the city center has been placed.

A map of route changes has been published on the Unified Transport Portal. Passengers can also get a prompt response to all their questions at the Moscow Transport contact center by calling + 7495-539-5454 or 3210 (when calling from a mobile phone).

To develop the Magistral network in the Moscow Transport Complex, a working group was created, which included Russian and international experts. When planning routes, population density, concentration of jobs, passenger traffic on existing routes and metro stations were taken into account. The working group carried out an in-depth analysis of the correspondence matrix based on a large amount of accumulated data.

The opportunity to launch a new network of routes appeared due to the changes in the organization of traffic as part of the My Street improvement program. On the streets of the Kremlin Ring (Teatralny Proyezd, Okhotny Ryad, Mokhovaya Street, Borovitskaya Square), an oncoming dedicated lane has appeared, new U-turns are being introduced on Lubyanskaya and Slavyanskaya Squares, and on the Garden Ring - direct intersections only for public transport. Six new dedicated lanes and new infrastructure will make ground transportation stable and convenient for everyday travel.

“The experience of the world's leading capitals shows that even with dense coverage of the central part of the city by the metro network, surface transport plays a key role in the movement of residents. Since in Moscow more than a third of urban areas inside the Garden Ring are beyond comfortable walking distance from the metro, Muscovites need regular ground transport. The new Magistral network will become a worthy alternative to traveling by metro in the center of Moscow. It will become much more convenient and faster to move around the center with the help of land transport,” commented Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow Government, Head of the Moscow Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development.
