Rent a house on krabi in thailand. Review of a trip to krabi for a month with renting an apartment

Hello everyone! Today I want to tell you how to rent a bike in resort town Ao Nang, Krabi province in Thailand. I know, I know, I already have a post on the topic. I agree that the scheme is similar and works approximately the same, but there are nuances and useful tips, which I would like to talk about in this article. Also, those who read the post to the end will receive a bonus - I will tell you how to rent a house in Ao Nang! So, let's begin!

Rent a bike in Ao Nang and Krabi town - our experience

On the first day after arriving in Ao Nang, we checked into a guest house for 500 baht (moreover, we could not find it cheaper, although it was not the season), where I rented a bike for 250 baht / day. Prohibitively expensive, you say! And you will be right! But at that time I did not want to walk and decided to travel around the neighborhood just in search of a house and the same bike, but at a reasonable price. Imagine my surprise when 10 out of 10 interviewed offices the next day told me the price of 250 baht and more! Where am I? It seems that Koh Samui is considered one of the most expensive areas in Thailand, but here Krabi shows its big eggs! 🙂

But every cloud has a silver lining. Having traveled almost the entire resort town, Marinka and I climbed into the very depths, closer to the mountains. And we met a wonderful person there, Irina Shtorm, who suggested to us a cool group on Facebook “The Incredible Adventures of Russians in Krabi”. And this is where I found the one who gives out bikes right and left! For a small fee, of course! 🙂. His name is Evgeny Khamitov.

Zhenya is Russian, has been living in Ao Nang for over a year and has a bike rental business. What difference does it make who to take the scooter from? But don't tell me! Here are some of the differences:

  • Firstly, you communicate in the same language and can explain to a person exactly what you want!
  • Secondly, Eugene has very affordable prices. I rented a Honda Click for the lowest price in town. I will say in advance that it was September, and this is not the season. But even during the season, Zhenya's prices do not go off scale.
  • Thirdly, Khamitov does not take a passport! You leave as a deposit an amount equal to the monthly rent (if in principle you want to leave your passport, please). After returning the bike, the deposit is also returned.
  • Fourth, he doesn't come up with scratches and damages. On the contrary, if something happened to you or the moped, you need to inform Eugene about it! He knows where it is cheaper to repair vehicle, familiar with doctors and shamans, will tell you where to buy a Vietnamese bike star 🙂.
  • Fifth, Evgeniy is a motorcycle instructor. If you have no experience in driving a two-wheeled friend, or you feel insecure while driving, then Zhenya will teach you several lessons, after which both confidence and skills will come.
  • At sixth, these are all kinds of bonuses. For example, Zhenya himself can bring or pick up a bike (by agreement), suggest interesting places and places to see. Also, along with the bike, you get round-the-clock support for the operation of the iron horse.

Do not think that I am currently promoting one person. Not at all. I am promoting the very opportunity to rent a bike in Krabi from a Russian and describe all the advantages. Another person or a group of people could have been in Yevgeny's place. It's not about personality, although Zhenya turned out to be just not an ordinary person, and we filmed with him, in which you can get to know Eugene, his fields of activity and find out contacts.

Several life hacks for travel and motorcycle travel in Thailand and other countries

So, the promised usefulness:

Life hack 1. Before you go to any city or country, search social networks for groups with the Russian-speaking diaspora. They are! Google and Yandex are, of course, great, but being able to ask a question to experts is worth a lot! So, for example, I learned how, where to eat delicious Massaman in Phuket, with whom to play volleyball in Ao Nang.

  • Most main advice- don't go fast! The lower the speed, the faster you will stop (and you don't have to laugh and say “thank you, cap” - in practice this is one of the most useful tips)!
  • Always brake with two brakes, pressing the rear one a little earlier than the front one. Do it smoothly. One rear brake can be used when the situation is calm and there is a lot of space. On wet roads and sand - extra attention.
  • Always release the throttle before braking. If you press the gas and the brake at the same time, you will lose traction. The consequences, I hope you can imagine?
  • Do not brake when cornering, in maneuvers, when the bike is in an inclined position. The wheel will lose traction and a fall cannot be avoided.
  • Practice before driving onto a busy highway. You need to learn how to brake correctly right away, and not retrain later, after a sad experience.

Life hack 3. Every time I took off the bike (even for a day), I had problems with the wheels. Basically, the camera fell into disrepair.
different reasons. I ripped off the nipple once. There are a lot of tire shops both in any city and on the highway, since the bike is the most common means of transportation in Asia. Camera replacement prices:

  • Krabi Town, Ao Nang - 150 baht.
  • Koh Samui island - 200 baht.
  • Koh Lanta island. Here the hostess took 300 baht from me, but I was not too lazy, went to the shredder and asked how much the repair was. It turned out 180 baht. Showed to the hostess - returned 120 baht without question. Remember almost everything. With them you need to keep your ear sharp and not be deceived!

Life hack 4. In Ao Nang, almost everyone drives without a helmet. As the locals say, they will not remember the raids here. But I advise everyone to ride only in helmets! The Thais themselves drive ugly, they can go to meet or cut off. In the evenings, there are many drunk driving, both locals and Europeans. God saves man, who save himself. I recommend taking a helmet with a closed one, or with a protective glass. When driving off the road, dust, sand, small stones and other nonsense fly into your eyes. Closed is the safest and strongest.

Accommodation in Ao Nang Krabi province: how to rent a house?

Here I want to tell you how to rent a house in Ao Nang. Again, the algorithm is similar to. We rent a bike and drive along different streets, ask Thais if they or their friends rent a house, call the indicated numbers, bargain! Housing prices in Ao Nang are high. On average 10-12 thousand baht per month. And this is not the season - September. Another distinctive feature of this region is the lack of a kitchen in the house. In places where it is, there is no gas cylinder and stove. So, if you are looking for a house with the above functions, then please be patient. I recommend considering options without a stove, since it costs from 250 baht in Tesco. Plus a gas bottle. I won't tell you about the cost, but you can buy it in the store.

We ourselves filmed the lower part of a two-story house. The hostess lived above us. The cost of housing cost a discount of 6,000 baht / month. What was included in this cost? A room of 20 meters with a large bed and a corner with a table, a sofa and armchairs. Good internet (even three - we learned passwords from the Wi-Fi of neighboring houses 🙂) and a TV. Toilet with shower, hole in the floor and warm water... Porch with concrete table and chairs. We had a kitchen with a refrigerator. I arranged for the hostess to provide a gas cylinder. All the kitchen utensils were there too. A bonus was a large grill with a grill, on which we cooked kebabs from meat, poultry and seafood. There is a small cafe across the street from our accommodation, where Thai and European food is deliciously prepared. We stayed in Ao Nang for a month and after that I can say that the accommodation was worth its $ 200. Finally, let's leave a point on the map of our house. In this area of Ao Nang, many houses and rooms are rented (they found housing very close to us and friends):

This concludes. Have a nice stay in Ao Nang and good luck!

We had been planning a trip to Thailand for a very long time. The country attracted us with its originality and exoticism.

In May 2012, fate gave us a wonderful gift. It was a month free from work and other affairs. Without thinking twice, we looked through all the possible offers of airlines for a flight to Thailand.

Traveling with a travel agency was not even considered, as I wanted to stay in the country for at least a month and plunge into ordinary life Thais.

Fortunately, the required air ticket was found immediately, although usually, in order to buy a cheap flight, you need to book it at least several months in advance. We were lucky, we bought a ticket Moscow-Phuket worth 36 thousand rubles in both directions for two.

We wanted only one thing from rest - a calm atmosphere, clean beach, scenic views and a minimum of other tourists. Well, where would you go with such requirements?

Of course, we did not stay a day in Phuket and went to the Krabi province. Initially, of course, we planned to save on travel, but tired of the long flight, we decided to take a taxi. Bargained for $ 150 per car. It was possible, of course, to leave in the usual by bus, which depart several times a day from Phuket bus station.

We did not book the hotel in advance, so we were very worried if we would have time to get to the province of Krabi before dark. After all, the sun sets in Thailand at 18.00, and we needed to find a place to sleep. Of course, this was a somewhat rash act on our part, but since Since May is considered the beginning of the rainy season, we decided that we could easily find suitable accommodation on site.

Rental housing in Krabi

Lacking a clear plan of action, we asked the taxi driver to take us to any inexpensive hotel of his choice to spend the night, and in the morning to start looking for accommodation for the next month. And here we first encountered the Thai mentality, which later we liked more and more. The taxi driver said he knew perfect place where we can settle. And he really brought us to a quiet residential area with small houses that were rented for a period of one month for only 9000 baht. We are so incredibly lucky! But we still advise you not to count on luck, but to select and book a hotel in Krabi in advance.

I will say right away that for lovers of luxury hotels and increased comfort, our choice will seem strange, but we are not pretentious about housing. In addition, I wanted a small, cozy private house ik with the most necessary set of amenities. We got it. The house was simply buried in greenery, it had one room with a large bed, air conditioning, refrigerator, shower and toilet. In the neighborhood with us there were 7 more of the same houses and a little further a large, castle-like house of the owner. It seemed that the houses were small children of this huge, stately building. Liked it, we also liked what was before nearest beach only about 5 minutes at a leisurely pace. But we were still lazy and rented a scooter, especially since the rental price is only 100 baht per day.

Krabi beaches

Tuning in for a long and quiet rest For the first week, we only did the driving around the neighborhood in a rented moped and going to the beach. By the way, the landscapes in the Krabi province are truly mesmerizing with their beauty!

A moped with which we did not part throughout the rest

Even before the trip, reading reviews of travelers, we more than once met the opinion that the beaches in Krabi are not very good. I don't know who writes this! Such delight from the crystal pure water, rocks sticking out of the ocean and sunsets I have never had. Perhaps the garbage that was written about is there, but we definitely did not see it.

Excursions Krabi

Having enjoyed the idleness, we wondered where to go on the excursion. In fact, there are no problems with leaving somewhere. On the street that runs along the beach, there are a large number of small tourist offices. They offer different types of excursions every now and then.

We chose a visit to the Tiger Temple and an excursion called "3 Islands".

Tiger Temple

Amazing place located on the way to the airport. There are a huge number of sculptures on the territory of the temple, but the main charm temple complex in a staircase of 1200 steps, and if you overcome them you will get to the top of the mountain on which the huge Buddha sits. From my experience I can say that it is very difficult to climb stairs, even if you are involved in sports. Believe me, none of our group climbed easily, except for the monk, of course. But the view to the mountain peaks and the blissful feeling of peace and quiet are worth visiting.

Buddha on the top of the mountain near the Tiger temple

Excursion around the islands

The beginning of the excursion did not bode well, as I had to get up at 6 in the morning. We were picked up by a minibus right from our house and for about an hour we drove around the area, collecting other tourists. I really don't like these collective excursions. Then they loaded them into a boat and drove them alternately across the islands. The beauty, of course, is indescribable, snow-white sand, palm trees, monkeys. Everything was spoiled by huge crowds of screaming tourists, vendors and beggars. Later we learned that it was possible to rent a separate boat with a Thai on our own and he would take us to other islands where there are no tourists and the nature is completely untouched.

Some will say that our visit to Krabi province was boring, uncomfortable and completely desaturated. But the pleasure we got is incomparable!

By the way, if you are in Ao Nang, drive up from the beach, past the Nasha Russia cafe, stubbornly look to the left! See the night market for local residents, there are no tourists at all, but there is delicious sushi at a price of only 5 baht apiece, as well as carousels and something else that will surprise you very much. Good luck!

Hotel search in Phuket Island

Using the form below, you can find out the prices for hotel rooms, as well as pick up air tickets to Phuket Island, as well as book a hotel and tickets.

On this page:

If you want to come to Krabi and stay longer than two standard weeks, you will be faced with the problem of finding accommodation. Read on to find out how to look for good and inexpensive hotels, resorts, condos and houses in Krabi and what you can count on.

In Krabi, we needed to find accommodation for a month. The search technology was used as standard - renting a bike and scrupulously researching all the nooks and crannies on it. This brought a corresponding result - we settled at the farthest end of Nopharat Thara Beach, in a refined piece of the jungle.

First of all, don't expect to find your dream home the very first day you arrive. On the first day, you don't have to look for anything at all, but just exhale, eat and go for a massage. In order for all of the above to pass with maximum comfort, I recommend renting accommodation in advance for the first couple of days. Here you need to decide where you want to live - in a hotel / guesthouse or rent a private house or apartment.

Looking for Hotels and Guesthouses in Ao Nang (Krabi)

If you want to stay in Krabi at a hotel, then I advise you to use the service Hotelscombined he is RoomGuru... This service "wool" all popular booking systems such as Booking.Com or Agoda and finds the cheapest accommodation options in each hotel. Indeed, in these systems, prices are often quite different, if you did not know.

In general, I advise you to first search here:

Looking for Houses, Villas and Apartments in Krabi

If you want to live not in a hotel, but in a house or apartment, a service called (Airbianby) will help you.

On it, the owners post offers for renting their homes - rooms in condos, apartments, houses and entire villas. In general, exactly what you need to live in Thailand for a more or less long period. If you're lucky, you won't have to look for anything on the spot: you immediately book the option you like on Airbnb and come to Krabi!

For new AIRBNB users, we have a gift: a coupon of 23 euros for the first booking! Click the button below and get money!

GET 23 EURO!

Now let's talk about what, in principle, can be filmed in Krabi for a more or less long period.

In total, in Krabi, as in other places in Thailand, there are five options for long-term rental housing: hotel, resort, condo / apartment, detached house and villa. Let's look at everything in order:

1. Hotels in Krabi

Well, here it is clear - an ordinary hotel in which, after bargaining, you can get a discount on long-term stays. In expensive chain hotels, such a room will most likely not work, but small private hotels may well meet you halfway.

Pros: full hotel service, cleaning every day, breakfast (if you're lucky), swimming pool, no need to worry about utility bills and other inevitable trifles.

Minuses: usually a little expensive, no kitchen, usually small standard rooms.

Here is a small selection of hotels in Krabi and Ao Nang where I would stay myself (click on the name of the hotel and you will be taken to the description page with reviews and a booking form).

Our selection of hotels in Krabi:

Small and inexpensive youth hotel in the center of Ao Nang, from 600 baht.

Home hotel with its own pool. From 1000 baht.

Hotel of the international chain Ibis, opened in Ao Nang in 2014. From 2000 baht.

Centara Anda Dhevi Resort

Luxurious hotel of the world famous Centara chain. From 3000 baht.

2. Resorts in Krabi

A resort is, in principle, the same hotel, only built not in “one piece” in the form of a large building, but in separate bungalows. Here at your service there will be a cafe, swimming pool, travel agency, massage - further on the list. Your bungalow will be cleaned every day or every other day, change linen and towels, bring water, flowers, fruits to your room - depending on the level of the hotel. "Bungalows" are usually pretty standard - one room 20 meters square, a bathroom with hot water, a large veranda, an air conditioner, a drawer and a refrigerator, in some places wi-fi.

In the high season 2010-2011, this option in a mid-range resort cost 14-15 thousand, bargained at 12-13. As they write in the comments, now there is no such freebie, resorts are reluctant to trade, and one day of stay in them now costs from 1000 baht.

pros: your own house without neighbors, no need to worry about cleaning and washing linen and towels; no additional costs - the price includes water, electricity and internet; usually a good location - close to the sea and civilization.

Minuses : usually there is no hint of kitchen and again a little expensive.

Our selection of resorts in Krabi:

Inexpensive, unpretentious bungalows with no complaints. But from 450 baht.

Quiet resort on Nopparat Thara beach. From 1200 baht.

A large and very beautiful resort in the center of Ao Nang. From 2000 baht.

Railay Beach Resort (adjacent to Ao Nang). From 3000 baht.

3. Condos and Apartments in Krabi

Condo - short for "condominium" - an apartment building with additional amenities such as a swimming pool, gym and landscaped grounds. Several such condominiums have been built in Ao Nang over the past couple of years, so fans of multi-storey housing can now have peace of mind. Also in Krabi town and on the outskirts of Ao Nang there are many “tai-condos” for a dozen apartments. The rooms are usually quite microscopic, and so are the balconies. Worth so much pleasure 5 thousand for tie-condo up to 40 for a new condo per month. Water and electricity are charged separately.

Pros: a full-fledged own home with a kitchen, appliances and sometimes even utensils, a swimming pool, gym, territory

Cons: You can't usually live with animals

Our selection of condos in Krabi:

One bedroom apartment for 35 euros.

Another studio apartment for 30 euros.

Two bedrooms, living room and kitchen. From 50 euros.

Three-room apartment with a swimming pool. 80 euros.

3. Houses in krabi

The houses for rent in Krabi are very different. Previously, Thais mostly rented out their homes, but now everywhere they specially build entire villages for rent.

As a rule, these are one or two bedroom houses, standing in a fenced area, sometimes with a communal pool. Houses with little or no furniture and a kitchen. Such villages are being built for long-term rent, but you can find a house for a month, especially if the village is new. Get ready to buy all sorts of household items for such a house, such as dishes, a kettle and towels.

Prices - from 6 thousand baht a month for a very modest Thai-style hut up to 30-40 thousand for a large house with 3-4 bedrooms and a full minced meat. The longer the rental period, the lower the price. Internet, water and electricity are charged separately.

pros: his own master; usually there is a kitchen, inexpensive.

Minuses: Internet often needs to be done independently; no service; far from the sea.

Our selection of houses in Krabi:

Authentic wooden house with a garden. 20 euros.

Nice new house for 1 family. 30 euros.

Very nice 1 bedroom houses. 30 euros.

Large house with 3 bedrooms and a swimming pool. 80 euros.

4. Villas in krabi

Detached houses are usually rented by Thais, who have built them with their own hands and built on their own plot. The quality of houses varies greatly: if the Thais built for themselves, then the house may turn out to be a wooden shack on legs without windows and doors. If it was built for delivery, it may turn out to be a normal house. In general, the situation is the same as in the settlements: the longer the lease term, the lower the price, the communal apartment will have to be paid for by ourselves, and it is most likely that they will have to carry out a normal Internet connection.

You can search for such housing both independently and with the help of real estate agencies.

Pros: cheap; there is a kitchen; your site

Cons: the Internet will most likely have to be done independently

Our pick - Baan Po Ngam Resort

On our first visit to Krabi, we lived in Ao Nang in Baan Po Ngam Resort(follow the link to see the availability of rooms and the price). The bungalow with all the minced meat was then bargained for 12 000 ... Next time we rented a separate house for the same price.

What I liked about Baan Po Ngama: a large (25 meters) room, wooden floors (and not terrible tiled, like everywhere else), a well-groomed area - just a whole arboretum. At night, it looks fabulous with lights, cicadas and bats.

Nopparat Thara Beach is a 10-minute walk away. There is a free rickshaw transfer to Ao Nang, but we still had our own transport.

The room has a full workplace... The wooden tabletop lies on a cast-iron underframe from a sewing machine, you can pedal to calm your nerves =))

Hot water is generated using a water heater - there have never been any problems, there is enough water for everyone.

The bungalow comes with a large veranda (filmed from about the middle). Then they brought us a large bamboo table, chairs and an extension cord - it turned out to be another workplace. Lizards live on the palm tree, you can communicate with them between times.

Two mummies hang under the roof of the veranda; one of the previous tenants left it behind. Toothy.

The resort has a swimming pool - small, but clean and well-groomed - to dive in the morning. There are sun beds and umbrellas too, but they were not included in the frame.

So, after three days of adventures in Malaysia, on March 15, 2012 we went to Thailand, to the province of Krabi. A ticket for a low-cost Air Asia plane was bought out in three weeks, so the flight cost us about $ 200 for three.

I note that there are only two in Krabi international flights- just from Malaysia and from Singapore, and a few more internal ones - from Bangkok and to the island of Koh Samui.

From Krabi Airport to the coastal town of Ao Nang is 40 kilometers. There are several ways to get there. The easiest one is a taxi. It costs 500-600 baht, depending on the season. We went by bus for 150 baht per person, the child does not count. However, get ready that the bus will not have air conditioning and you will have to spend 40-50 minutes in a rather stuffy space.
UPD on 10/11/2013: We returned to Ao Nang again and wrote a new report on home rentals.

We booked in advance over the internet in Ao Nang cheap hotel Adam Bungalow. I wanted to save some money, so we bought a bungalow with a fan for 600 baht. It turned out to be a plywood house with walls a centimeter wide, in which there was not even a wardrobe.

It is very stuffy in it, not only during the day, but also at night. The three of us barely fit on the small crib. In the end, I never got to sleep. I spent midnight on the veranda near the house, fleeing the heat and serving as food for mosquitoes.

Early in the morning Sasha rented a bike and we went to look for a house. There was absolutely no strength, but I did not want to spend another night in this bungalow (and we booked and paid for 2 nights).

First of all, we started looking at houses that we found in advance on the Internet. I printed out a post from one blogger. But our viewing impressions did not coincide with the stories of the author. For example, the article enthusiastically describes the houses at the Banburee resort: "A chic option. Modern and cozy ... perhaps this is one of best options". In fact, for $ 400, you are offered a tiny room, in which, apart from a bed and a wardrobe, there is more space for nothing. Also in the house there is a "kitchen" without a stove and dishes, a tiny hotel refrigerator. The house is clearly not worth the money.

We also looked at Oscar House and did not find the described plush wood floors and wood-upholstered walls. The complex is located on the outskirts. Horses graze in the yard, leaving unpleasant dung heaps. But the house is still beautiful and we really liked it.

We spoke with the owner on the phone, and his sister, who speaks poor English, showed the house. She opened two halves of the house to us at once - three rooms and a large kitchen. Sasha clarified by phone from the owner that all three rooms cost 15 thousand a month ($ 500)? He said yes. We did not hesitate to agree to enter it.

We immediately went to the bungalow, packed our things and returned. An hour later, when all the clothes were already hanging in the closet in the new house, and Arinka was getting ready to sleep, the owner came to us. It was then that the "annoying mistake" was revealed that only half of the house costs 15 thousand - either one room with a kitchen, or 2 rooms without a kitchen. This option did not suit us in any way. It's bad without a kitchen, and one room for $ 500 is somehow too much. But our annoyance did not bother the Thai in any way. He was not particularly worried about the sleepy Arina, who urgently needed to be transported somewhere again (but where?). And we decided to move to the house that we saw in the morning.

Two floors, on the first there is a large studio with a kitchen, and on the second floor (stairs outside) there is a small bedroom with a balcony and another bathroom. Costs 12 thousand a month, including light and water. Located 3 minutes walk from main street and shop 7/11. To the sea by bike five minutes.

When we moved in, the hostess said that if we don't really need the bedroom upstairs (and we don't really need her, because Arina won't be able to sleep there alone, we just won't hear her), then we can only rent the lower studio for just 7 thousand baht per month ($ 230), all inclusive.

Here we spent a month and a half of our life in Thailand, and then passed the house on to our friend Tanya, who came from Moscow for a month to soak in the Andaman Sea.

Then Sasha went to look for a big house for us for the next visits and we made some price conclusions for ourselves. The farther from the sea, the cheaper. Within 7-10 minutes on a bike at home cost 8-10-12 thousand baht per month + electricity, water. This house can be rented for 10 thousand ($ 330). Two rooms, hall, minimal set furniture and dishes.

There are also more expensive options. This beautiful house with two bedrooms costs 17 thousand (580 dollars) + light, water.

According to Sasha, the most effective way to look for housing is to attract a local "guide". In our case, "Madame C" herself offered to look at one house, when it turned out that her own was rented out for a year. Then - one more, and another ... For an hour with her, we saw more interesting options than the whole day before. She flatly refused the money.

The most important thing is to have a little time and take your time. You need to remember that your dream house is somewhere nearby, you just need to find it))

We rented accommodation in Krabi more than once. When we were wintering in this beautiful Thai province, we rented a house from Oscar for several months, I once showed it on my blog. When they came to see friends for a short time, they stayed in different hotels. But on the last trip, although I was traveling only for the duration of the vacation, I decided to settle in the house again. I really wanted a separate home with its own kitchen and a terrace where you can swing in a hammock on a quiet starry evening. Naturally, finding such accommodation in Krabi is not a problem, and in this post I will share my impression of our cozy wooden house, where Mishutka and I enjoyed our vacation.

When traveling to Asia, I often resort to renting housing through the site, because it provides the broadest choice of non-hotel housing. Maybe it's delusional to try to live in another country in an authentic house or apartment, but it helps me to better plunge into the local atmosphere, because I love this format. Accordingly, to find accommodation in Krabi, the first thing I did was go to www.airbnb.com.

There are a lot of different houses there, especially if you book in advance. But this time I chose meticulously, tk. I wanted to rest as much as possible, and minimal body movements)) It was supposed to be a separate accommodation with a kitchen and a terrace, a swimming pool and a restaurant nearby, a kind of mixture of your home and hotel service. Actually, I found what I was looking for almost immediately!

Green well-groomed area with four wooden detached houses. There is a swimming pool in the center, which was practically empty, because there are very few tenants - there are a minimum of houses.

You can swim even at night! The water in it is really highlighted until about 23 o'clock, then only in complete darkness)) We escaped in it when I was badly burned out and there was no desire to go to the sea. The child did not have to grieve, because he gurgled in the pool

Around flowers, palms and all kinds of tropical vegetation. It seems that the garden is beauty all around, but at the same time not boring, sleek, but a feeling of liveliness and wildness.

I especially dazed in the evenings, swinging in a hammock and gazing at the starry sky, listening to the sounds of the jungle, the sound of the wind and music on the phone) Well, Mishutka occupied the hammock in the morning (the title photo for this article), and it's so great that you can go out like this on the terrace right in your linen, while it is still cool and the sun envelops with its gentle light.

The inside of the house is completely wooden, and the overall style is preserved even in the smallest details- even the trash can is wooden and with incredibly beautiful oriental ornaments. But, for example, the signs "do not disturb" and "change towels" ...

Feeling creative ?? And so in everything! For example, the windows to the terrace are made of colored corrugated glass. And then it intersects in all design elements - in the closet, in the sash doors, in the mirror, in the chest of drawers, etc. etc.! It's just a delight to the eyes! In this you can feel the love with which these houses are made and how much soul is in them.

On this trip I was very lazy to take pictures, in general I do it now through a stick. Therefore, I practically did not reach the camera, only a couple of times in order to take pictures of my son. Therefore, this review of our house in Krabi is obtained from a portrait angle :) But ... behind Mishutkina's back you can also see the background, according to which it is at least approximately clear what our housing was like.

The house itself is small, but everything fits perfectly in it - a large bed, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, a dressing table with a mirror, sideboards, a TV, an air conditioner. The kitchen has a work area, cupboards, a sink, a refrigerator, a microwave oven, an electric kettle, a coffee maker and all the necessary utensils. The kitchen is small, suitable only for cooking, but there is meant on the veranda, where there are benches and a large wooden table. Of course, there is a toilet with a shower in the house, and also with the preservation of the overall design - even the washbasin is a piece of some kind of wood with a hollowed out recess. Very unusual!

The furniture in the restaurant is made of the same wood. That table, that "chair" - these are sawn pieces of some huge tree. Obviously, everything is perfectly polished and varnished. Looks gorgeous!

The restaurant's menu is quite varied, and the prices are quite loyal. For example, pad thai and Thai rice with chicken cost only 60 baht (~ 2 dollars), various spaghetti (carbonara, bolognese, etc.) - 120 baht (~ 4 dollars), and very tasty pizzas of this normal diameter for 160 baht ( ~ $ 5.5).

Of course, we ate in other places and cooked ourselves too, but there was never a disappointment from food here, because an excellent restaurant with very tasty homemade food (the hostess herself prepares - the cutest taichka, she turns out European dishes with a bang (!), which is not often the case in Asian countries).

I remember when I wrote about Goa, which is an Indian state, not an island, people often asked about housing in Goa, although in theory it would be necessary to look for housing "IN GOA". For it is the same to say that "I went to rest in the Moscow region." Sounds like? In my opinion, no)) And it completely contradicts the rules of the Russian language.
It's the same with Krabi. Krabi is a province, i.e. is also essentially a region of the country, and not an island at all. This means that it is impossible to rest in Krabi, therefore, it is also impossible to look for housing in Krabi. Nevertheless, people ask the search engine in this format. Where it came from is not clear.

Although many will agree that it is not very important about housing in Krabi or in Krabi, the main thing is the essence, from which it is clear that a wonderful house in Ao Nang can be rented, both for a short and for long term(in this case, write to the hostess, discounts will be given for a long time).
