Goodbye Moscow and hello ... Abu Dhabi !!! Yes, it was Abu Dhabi that was our first stop. Flight to Etihad airways with a docking in Abu Dhabi. And believe me, there is plenty to do at Abu Dhabi Airport: big airport with a sufficient number of shops Duty Free, restaurants, cafes, recreation areas, smoking rooms, etc.
Night flight, and early in the morning we are in the Maldives !!! Unfortunately, the weather was cloudy and the islands from the porthole did not look so colorful, but it still takes your breath away when you see this - a country consisting of small islands ...

25 minutes drive and welcome to the VELASSARU MALDIVES 5 * hotel. Excellent hotel with a cozy and friendly atmosphere! Stylish modern detached villas and bungalows, a home coral reef, delicious food and a warm welcome (although I must admit that we were warmly welcomed in all hotels, but this was our first experience) left extremely pleasant memories of this hotel in our hearts. The hotel is suitable for a romantic getaway for couples, honeymooners and for those who want to receive high quality service and take a break from the hustle and bustle of the big city.
In the evening there was a cocktail party with the hotel management.
And after that we went on a cruise on a local boat doni to see off the sunset. But unfortunately, we did not see the sunset because of the cloudy weather ...
And the next day, not only was waiting for us new hotel, but also a new type of transfer - a seaplane.
Ooooh, it was an unforgettable experience! How great it is to fly over the Maldives and gaze at the beauty of the ocean and islands from an almost bird's eye view.

What's not cool? But we again failed to hold the sunset - the clouds covered the whole sky. Moreover, we experienced a real flood that evening! It was raining like a bucket, knee-deep water, but still everyone is happy and happy, because we are in the Maldives!
Yes, perhaps the hotel has every chance of becoming popular - new, stylish, excellent food, a wide selection of drinks, an interestingly styled bar, a beautiful lagoon ...

Finally the sun! And everything immediately sparkled with bright colors.

A beautiful green island with its own zest - the largest pool in the Maldives (750 m 2), a unique Thai SPA center "treetop" - treatment and massage rooms are located on a hill among the branches of trees and palms; the battler assigned to each number; a unique Thai restaurant, where products, down to the smallest detail, are sourced from Thailand; and a nice addition in the form of bicycles assigned to each number.

The very first hotel in the Maldives, located just 10 minutes from Male Airport. The island is crossed by asphalt paths, which is a rarity in the Maldives, so girls can take hairpins here).
A distinctive feature, which is not found in other hotels, is the Russian language teacher. Yes, yes, it is the teacher of the Russian language! Our compatriot (somewhat similar to Vladimir Putin - look at the photo for yourself) teaches the hotel staff Russian! And this suggests that there are a lot of Russian tourists in this hotel!
Standard 5 *, well-established reputation, wide choice of restaurants, many regular guests - all this allows the hotel to remain one of the most popular hotels in the Maldives from year to year.
Ah, yes ... and again the sunset. And our next attempt to carry it out ...
Here it is the SUN! And an almost cloudless sky! AND SUNSET !!! And live music on the shore - saxaphone and hang are playing ... Bliss ...
BUT! At the last moment, CLOUDS again cover the sky, and again we were unable to send the sun beyond the horizon.

ADAARAN PRESTIGE OCEAN VILLAS HUDHURAN FUSHI 5 *. Many sports activities including surfing - on one side of the island the famous surfing point "Lohi's". There are some nuances with the beach - the entrance to the water is limited (corals, stones, algae).
There are 2 small islands opposite the hotel, one for picnics and the other with a honeymoon hut.

The neighboring hotel SUN ISLAND RESORT & SPA 5 *, I think, does not need a special introduction. Very famous and popular on the Russian market! However, a few words should still be said about him. The hotel is located on big island with paved paths, a large selection of sports entertainment and entertainment in the evenings (discos, live music, crab races, feeding stingrays and sharks, etc.). By the way, the first time we saw feeding stingrays and sharks was at the SUN ISLAND RESORT & SPA 5 *
The standart and superior rooms are very basic. A democratic hotel for active recreation.
In the morning the weather turned bad again. It was raining like a bucket, the ocean was agitated, but we bravely went to the next hotel. Oh, what a trip! We have never experienced such extreme during our info-tour! Life jackets even the captain of the boat and his crew put on. We jumped on the waves like on a ball. Downpour poured into the cracks (fortunately it's warm). All held on tightly to what they could. And so we sailed for an hour ... How we wanted to go ashore! And finally, OH is the LILY BEACH RESORT & SPA 5 * hotel with its famous Platinum Plan meals. We dried up a little, warmed up and went to lunch. And there is so much - sushi, rolls, various meats, salads, soup tom yam !!! And it's all on buffet! Yes ... it's not for nothing that the hotel is famous for its cuisine. And what a program of events they have arranged for us! But all in order!
First, a tasting of cheese and wine. The chef himself Monsieur Lionel welcomed us and was our guide in the world of cheese and wine. All cheese is supplied to the hotel directly from France, of which Monsieur Lionel is very proud.

And after all this cheese and wine disgrace, we went on an evening fishing trip. Blue marlin, of course, they didn’t get caught, but they didn’t return empty-handed either.

And that is not all! We changed quickly and went to dinner. And there…. The chef and the whole team of chefs "killed" us on the spot! Judge for yourself - shrimps, langoustines, crabs, lobsters, oysters ... and for a sweet treat - a handmade dessert.

Despite the heavy rain again in the evening, nothing could spoil our mood after such a day!
Yeah, LILY BEACH RESORT & SPA 5 * put not an end, but an exclamation mark at the end of our information tour. True, we did not know about this yet. Indeed, the next day before flying home, we had one more hotel - ADAARAN CLUB RANNALHI 4 *.
And the day began as best as possible - in the morning the sun was shining. Those who got up early managed to swim and sunbathe, but by 10 o'clock in the morning the weather was like this:
A few minutes later it started raining again and the wind picked up.
Fortunately, the seaplanes did not cancel their flights, and after kissing the management of the LILY BEACH RESORT & SPA 5 * hotel,
we went to Male.
Arriving in Male, it became clear that we would not be able to visit ADAARAN CLUB RANNALHI 4 * - rain, wind and waves interfered. And we had another 3.5 hours before the start of check-in for our flight. TEZ TOUR MALDIVES office suggested a walk around the capital - Male, with which we gladly agreed, because Male is one of the smallest capitals in the world! We went on a local boat doni to Male. Moored and ended up in a real anthill! It's no joke - the population is about 100,000 people on an area of 5.8 km 2! Believe it or not - despite the fact that Male is about 2 km long and about 1 km wide, across the island locals move on bikes and cars !!! We saw the Great Mosque,
presidential palace, interior ministry, central square,
visited the fruit and fish markets,
as well as in souvenir shops!
3.5 hours flew by quickly! And now it's time to return to the airport ...
How sad to part! Time flew by quickly! We do not want to say goodbye, because we want to return to the Maldives again and again!
