This winter got into the real winter fairy tale in Kabardino-Balkaria. And frozen waterfalls, and fluffy magical trees ...

The first two days we spent in Kabardino-Balkaria, the rest of the time we walked around Pyatigorsk.

Approaching the Caucasian Mineral Waters, we saw a beautiful winter dawn.

Dawn in front of Pyatigorsk

We have been to the Caucasian Mineral Waters more than once, but only in the warm season. Visited in winter for the first time. It is unusual to see these places in a snow-white attire, subtly illuminated by a pink dawn and blue sky.

Winter road

In the first days, while walking along natural attractions, we were incredibly lucky with the weather: fluffy White snow gave real beauty. At Christmas it began to melt, but for city walks good weather is no longer so important.

We were in Kabardino-Balkaria for the first time. In two days we managed to see the frozen Chegem waterfalls, Blue Lakes, Cherek gorge, Upper Balkaria with the Abaev tower.

Liked everything. But most of all - the frozen Chegem waterfalls and the extraordinary harsh beauty of the Cherek Gorge and Upper Balkaria.

We walked a lot around the city. We saw the Flower Garden, the grotto of Diana, went up to the Aeolian harp, went down to and went to the Failure. They went up to the Chinese gazebo and from there they also looked at Pyatigorsk from above.

We went to the Gate of the Sun.
