This section is a kind of navigation through the most interesting countries in the world for travel, which I have visited over the past few years. By clicking on the links, you will find useful information for yourself that will help you plan your own route. You will find many high quality photographs from all over the world. Finally, just read about my travels, emotions, experiences, victories and disappointments.

List of interesting countries, which will be discussed in the article:

Asia

China, Philippines, Nepal, India, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore.

South America

Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay.

Russia

Caucasus

Nagorno-Karabakh, Armenia, Georgia.

Iran and Turkey

Asia

My acquaintance with independent travel began from Asia and here a lot was for the first time. There were many fears that we managed to overcome. There are many situations that made me stronger and gave me confidence that everything is possible, if you do not panic and systematically go towards your goal. I have been to Asia several times and will return here more than once. Moreover, I think that it is worth starting to travel from Southeast Asia on your own. Lovely people, relatively low prices, well-developed tourist communication and ease of obtaining visas, all this makes the region very attractive for both tourists and travelers.

China

Without a doubt, one of the most interesting countries in the world to travel to. China was not my first country, but it so happened that since September 2016 I have been living here, working, meeting interesting people, admiring the beautiful nature of Sichuan province, dreaming of getting to Tibet and learning Chinese. At the moment, all articles and thoughts are only about China. This is an incredibly interesting and different country, with its own unique culture and logic of thinking that we hardly understand. I think a great trip to China, with an abundance of beautiful photographs and a sea of useful information, is not far off ...

Philippines

It was the Philippines that was my first country where I went to travel with a backpack on my shoulders. I remember the fear that I experienced while sitting at the Hong Kong airport, waiting for my flight to the island of Cebu. It's funny to remember what I thought, but isn't it all a mistake and maybe return home? At home, everything is clear and simple. I don’t want to live! ... That spontaneous trip to the Philippines was one of the most correct decisions of my life.

Nepal and India

Traveling through Nepal and India was incredibly exciting. Honestly, I didn't plan it. Just one day, a girl I knew invited me to join her, but I didn’t refuse. Yes, India was interesting and I will probably go back there one day, but here's Nepal! This country turned out to be one of the most interesting, it simply conquered me and made me fall in love with the mountains. For the first time I climbed above 5000 meters, I saw the Himalayas for the first time, and of course, I plan to visit there more than once. Better than mountains can only be mountains, because that's what they say, right?

Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore

I decided to unite all these countries, because there was nothing in them at all and there was nothing to talk about in detail (a few days in Cambodia and Thailand, ten days in Malaysia, a couple of days in Singapore and a couple of weeks in Vietnam). Of course, there were interesting places, but other countries gave many more vivid memories.

South America

I adore South America with all my heart and really want to return. Without a doubt, this region is one of the most interesting to travel to. Latin culture is very close to me, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese are one of the most sonorous languages, in my opinion, and the people there always smile and make you smile. For the first time, I began to think about changing the region of residence right here.

Argentina

My favorite country! Steaks, beer, girls, Buenos Aires, nature, Spanish - I loved everything there. In Argentina I could live, no questions asked. In the north of Patagonia, surrounded by magnificent nature, in a small house in a small town and with your girlfriend? Yes, exactly, I am drawing such a life for myself in a not so distant perspective.

Chile

Unfortunately, we did not manage to see much in Chile, but we liked what we saw. Hitchhiking is one of the easiest here, the beer is still as tasty as in Argentina. But the girls, however, are no longer so beautiful)))

Brazil

First of all, in Brazil, I was delighted with its people. These are amazing people. They meet all their adversity with a snow-white and sincere smile. This is their way of solving problems - smiling, knowing that every question has its own solution and there is no need to worry. Everything will be fine.

Uruguay and Paraguay

Uruguay seemed to me a big village, with an abundance of cows, meadows and local cowboys. Nice country, but I don't know what you can do there for a long time. In Paraguay, I was only in the capital, Asuncion. Probably, it would be wrong to assess the country only by the capital. But in general, I do not regret that I have been there.

Russia and the Caucasus

Russia

For about a year, I hatched plans to see my homeland. Initially, I planned a much more ambitious trip across Russia, I wanted to see, in addition to the western part, the Urals and Siberia. Unfortunately, we didn’t manage to do this in one sitting; let’s postpone the study of Russia until better times. The time will come and we'll see Russia.

Nagorno-Karabakh, Armenia, Georgia

The Caucasus is one of the most interesting and unusual regions to travel to. The nature is beautiful, but even the nature of the Caucasus pales in comparison with the incredible inhabitants. They invite you to visit after five minutes of acquaintance, hitchhiking on the track you do not cost more than ten minutes, and the amount of wine and mulberry vodka that is poured into you, it seems, would be enough for several lives. Another place worth going back and where I would recommend to everyone.

For a long period of my travels, I want to summarize and present the best countries for travel from my point of view. I have compiled a kind of TOP countries for independent travel around the World (for those who are not familiar with me - I recommend that you familiarize yourself with the channel on YouTube - there are a large number of videos about traveling to many countries):

1) So, the first place deserves by right - the Kingdom of Thailand. With its indescribable energy, culture, traditions, preserved temples and smiles. The country is very well developed for tourism - the former King Bhumibol Adulyadej did a lot to popularize this destination: a tourist in this country feels comfortable. Developed infrastructure, transport links between resorts and cities, comfortable transport, luxury hotels and beaches. At the same time, traveling around Thailand is financially very affordable.

Traveling around Thailand, you can find both interesting architectural sights (Bangkok, Ayuttaya, Chiang Mai), as well as beautiful white bounty beaches (Koh Samui, Phuket, Phi Phi, Krabi), and if necessary, even parties with beach parties (Pattaya, Phangan , Phi Phi). Everyone will find the taste of entertainment. You just need to choose the right place of rest, and not come, for example, to the popular Pattaya, if you wanted a quiet beach holiday.

2) Holidays in Indonesia, in particular in Bali, are also very rich and interesting. The island has a colossal number of different temples, truly impressive in their beauty and scale. Such temples as Uluwatu, Besahikh, Ubud are engraved in memory for a long time and are associated with this wonderful place. There are also many beautiful beaches on the island, which are interesting to travel on a motorbike.

From Bali, you can fly in 1 hour to the large neighboring island of Java, where there are many interesting sights (the famous temple complex of Borobudur). There are also small islands of Gili nearby, similar to the Maldives.

3) The Philippines is one of the most interesting countries for independent travel due to the large number of diverse islands (the most popular places: Boracay, Elnido, Cebu, Bohol, etc. can be enumerated a lot). But here it is worth making it clear that traveling in the Philippines is not for novice travelers, but for advanced ones - the logistics are complicated here and it takes a very long time to get from one island to another. Moreover, most of the movements require flights even to neighboring islands - for some reason, sea communication is underdeveloped.

4) Malaysia - my acquaintance began with a trip to the island of Langkawi. There were only positive impressions from my stay on this island - and I was surprised that this area was little explored by our tourist. Malaysia has many interesting islands for independent travel: from the popular Langkawi to the more challenging routes to Perhetian, Redang or Sipadan in Borneo. I plan to come back here again, probably primarily for the sake of Perhetian.

5) Vietnam - when I was in this country, I had not done video blogging yet, so there are no records for the country. But I can say that Vietnam is good for independent travel - the most popular places are Nha Trang, Mui Ne, Phan Thiet and Phu Quoc Island. If you drive away from these resorts for a couple of kilometers, you will be gazed at with an open mouth - white people outside of tourist places are rare. I also really liked the hospitality of the Vietnamese, they treat Russians especially well here - they remember our help in the USSR. By the way, the same feeling was from Cuba - they love our people very much, they even fed both here and there - for free and with smiles.

6) Mexico - we drove 1500 km to Yucatan by car. I can say that it is interesting to travel here on your own, but not safe (although Yucatan is considered to be relatively safe, especially in tourist areas). Unfortunately, the impressions of the local Mexicans themselves remained unpleasant - they deceived us, and the police tried to bribe us, and even robbed us at the hotel ... It was unpleasant. Watch your money and be careful in general. Like a beach vacation in Cancun or Playa del Carmen - everything is fine, but I would not recommend going to some remote place at night.

7) Cuba is a great country for independent travel, indescribable flavor, retro cars, cigars, rum - all this brings an indescribable experience to the rest. I have been to Havana and Varadero, but I plan to return to Cuba once again in order to independently drive through it by car, explore non-tourist places and go diving in the South with sharks. After Thailand, this is perhaps the second favorite country, but I have been to Tai more than 8 times, and in Cuba only 1 - so I don’t know, I need to visit here again and record a video from my travels.

8) India - definitely takes pride of place among lovers of exotic and extreme travel. This is, of course, about central India, not the beach part of Goa. Arriving in cities such as Delhi, Varanasi, Jaipur, Mumbai and others - you will be really shocked! This will definitely be a way out of your comfort zone - you can hardly see, hear and hear such dirt, cacophonies of sounds and smells in your life.

I advise traveling to central India only for trained travelers, both morally and in terms of experience: the logistics are not the easiest, and it is not easy to plan trips. If we talk about GOA, then here everyone can travel from North to South - not so much dirt, but in any case there is. Even in Goa, you need to be mentally prepared for unsanitary conditions, walking cows and their feces on the streets and on the beach, Indians sitting down in bushes when needed, and so on - all this is also in Goa.

9) Sri Lanka is an excellent analogue of India for travel. Rest can also be divided into a beach vacation in the southern part and a cultural one - exploring the central part of the island, where all the main attractions are concentrated. Sri Lanka is cleaner, tidier and more cultured than its neighbor India. But on the other hand, there is a little less color here and you won't see much trash. Probably, I would recommend first to travel around Sri Lanka, and then another time to go to India - this way you will be more mentally prepared. Traveling around this country left pleasant memories - I recommend it to fans of exotic countries.

10) Montenegro is a rather interesting country in summer for traveling by car along serpentines and high mountains. We filmed a convertible in Montenegro and traveled half the country (major tourist attractions, to be correct). I liked the views in the Bay of Kotor, Kotor itself and nearby towns.

Perhaps these were the most interesting countries for independent travel and sightseeing. But many will also be interested in the rating of the countries where the beach vacation is best - when you are lying with a vegetable and blush until golden brown. Nobody bothers to combine a beach vacation with the sights in the countries above, but nevertheless I singled out a beach vacation in a separate group, where the vacation is sharpened precisely by lying on a sun lounger, sipping a coconut from a tube and contemplating nature.

For a beach holiday, the TOP countries for travel is as follows:

1) The favorite for a beach holiday is, of course, the Maldives. This is a place for solitude and contemplation of nature, a stunning underwater world with corals, reef sharks, rays and other delights. Stays in the Maldives for a long time - not everyone can, because sitting in 1st place for more than 3 days is already boring, and there is nothing to do on the islands. There is no entertainment, no animation, no discos. A real getaway, either for a romantic week or for complete relaxation on your own. Contrary to popular belief, you can have a budget vacation in the Maldives - an independent budget tour will not be much more expensive than a trip, for example, to the Dominican Republic or Cuba.

2) Seychelles - beautiful views, great sea, but this is one of the few countries I have not visited yet, but it is in the plans. Hope to be there soon.

3) Dominican Republic and Cuba - a wonderful holiday, where felting on the beach is the basis. Leaving the hotel territory can be called unsafe even in tourist areas, and a soldier with a machine gun goes on excursions. Therefore, it is not safe to travel around the country on your own and you will not be able to see something very well. Remains a luxury vacation on the shores of the Caribbean Sea.

4) Philippines - beautiful white beaches, palm trees, clear water - everything is cool, but negative - it is difficult to get even to Boracay.

5) Egypt is the most accessible resort for us, while with an excellent and rich underwater world. Great place for diving, snorkeling. Cheap and cheerful.

6) Cyprus - slightly more expensive than Turkey, but with a higher level of service. I can't call Cyprus an ideal place, but in general there are good beaches with beautiful azure water. Watch the travel videos - all the beaches are visible on them.

7) Turkey is perhaps one of the most popular resort countries during the summer. A variety of resorts, many hotels of various levels. As a budget option, it is a good choice, and everything is also included.
